WWE Raw Summary and Highlights

‘The Ruler’ Oba Femi kicked off the show, following his triumphant win over Brock Lesnar, and announced that the Ruler has arrived. A promo by the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) aired, where Asuka berated Iyo Sky for choosing Rhea Ripley.
After the promo, the Kabuki Warriors took on RHIYO (Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky) in a tag team match, where Ripley and Iyo emerged victorious. In a backstage segment, Je’Von Evans congratulated Penta on retaining the IC title, but made it clear that he isn’t going anywhere. Raw’s newest member, Ethan Page, then appeared, mocking Evans for losing, and the argument led to GM Adam Pearce announcing a match between the two.
CM Punk then appeared to address his title loss last night, and he paid tribute to his MMA trainer, Duke Roufus, his dog, Larry, and the people backstage who passed away, who make this place a well-oiled machine.
Punk noted he was not supposed to be the Champion, but he stayed because you never know when an opportunity can fall from the sky. He also made it clear that he is not going to sulk or go on vacation because a title fight might once again fall from the sky. Cody Rhodes then appeared with a nasty black eye, courtesy of Randy Orton.
Rhodes admitted he felt like a loser that day, and CM Punk questioned whether he himself should feel the same way. Punk remarked that some people might see him as a loser, but he didn’t feel like one. He added that Rhodes’ emotions came from beating a friend and mentor, while he hated the person he had lost to, which made things simpler for him.
Punk emphasized that the burden of being champion was heavy and that Rhodes needed to keep winning and holding onto the title. Meanwhile, Punk said his own role was simply to stay ready, hinting that opportunities could come unexpectedly, as he stared at the championship in Cody’s hands. Rhodes told him to just say when.
On the other hand, Ethan Page defeated Je’Von Evans in their clash, and Rusev attacked Evans afterwards, until Penta arrived to aid Evans. However, he too fell prey to the Bulgarian Brute, who locked him in the accolade, before letting go and putting the IC title on his shoulders to end the segment.
Furthermore, the newly crowned Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan, came out to celebrate the win, thanking her Judgment Day stablemates, even thanking Stephanie Vaquer for the incredible match at Mania. Sol Ruca then interrupted the promo, leading to a clash between the two, where Zaria attacked Ruca, and Liv capitalized to pick up another win.
After the win, Stephanie Vaquer appeared on the entrance ramp to face off with Liv Morgan, signalling that the feud is far from over. A video package aired, paying homage to Brock Lesnar and all his accomplishments, not just in the WWE but also in UFC.
Paul Heyman then appeared with Logan Paul and Austin Theory. Heyman berated production about putting Brock Lesnar in the NOW (in the THEN. NOW. FOREVER montage during the start of the show). He stated that Brock is not now anymore, and he belongs forever, because he’s the baddest ever to step foot in a WWE ring.
Heyman then handed the mic to Logan Paul, who received a lot of boos, before stating that he hates the outsiders who come into WWE. Bron Breakker then came out and boasted about costing Seth Rollins the match against Gunther.
Rollins then jumped Breakker with a steel chair, but the numbers game took over until the Street Profits returned to target Logan and Theory. Meanwhile, Seth drops Breakker with a superkick, and Bron responds with a spear, and tells Rollins that he’s going to make everyone remember him as a shell of what he used to be.
In the final match of the show, Finn Balor defeated JD McDonagh. Post-match, Dominik Mysterio tried to attack Balor, who fought both Judgment Day members off and sent them packing. In another backstage segment, LA Knight and Gunther both announced that they’re eyeing the World title.
Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky embraced for the last time as Rhea informed Iyo that she would have to hold things down herself, as she will be the Champion that SmackDown needs. Rhea then walked away to find Liv Morgan, who was sitting on a production crate, and the two shared an intense, brief moment.
In the closing moments of the show, Roman Reigns, along with the Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso), celebrated his title win, and discussed the future, noting that they are separated, scattered and vulnerable, which is why CM Punk and even some washed rappers can run their mouth. Reigns then signalled that they should stick together because when they’re together, nobody can touch them.
Reigns also clarified that he’s not asking them to serve him; he’s just asking them to be his blood and stand with him. Big Jim then picked up the mic, stating that Roman will always be their Tribal Chief. Jacob Fatu then appeared, challenging Roman for the title, stating that he doesn’t want the title, he needs the title, and while he’s not out here to be Tribal Chief, but he needs everything that Roman has.
Roman questioned if Fatu is able to beat him, can he handle the burden of the title, and if he loses, can he handle the burden of having to acknowledge him? Reigns then asked Fatu to reconsider, and he will see him next Monday. Reigns asked the Usos to talk some sense into Fatu on the entrance ramp after exiting the ring.
