The Second City Saint made his way into the ring to kick off the show amid loud “CM PUNK” chants and picked up the mic. Punk stated that he should have gold around his waist, he should be the Champion, but he wasn’t because he had a ‘Seth Rollins problem.’

The Second City Saint said that Rollins was trying his best to be CM Punk and reminded everyone how he won the World title after 12 years at SummerSlam, but let everyone down because he wasn’t the Champion. He was relentless, though, and promised he would regain the title. Punk once again professed his hatred for Rollins, called him out for faking the injury, and promised he would take the title from him and break his legs.

LA Knight’s music hit, and the Megastar appeared, interrupting Punk. Knight offered a handshake, and the two stars embraced and shared a few words. Knight then picked up the mic, stating Punk was robbed at SummerSlam and deserved his rematch. But last week, while Knight was having his title match against Rollins, he lost the opportunity due to Punk’s attack on Rollins.

Knight continued, stating that they didn’t have a problem and he liked to keep it that way. If Punk wanted to whip Rollins, he should do it after the bell. Punk fired back, asking Knight to thank him, as he had only saved him from the vicious stomp on the concrete by Rollins.

Punk reminded Knight he was a former World Champion, something Knight couldn’t claim to be, and said Knight should get to the back of the line. Knight asked Punk not to step over the line and stated he would beat Rollins and become the World Heavyweight Champion. If that happened, Punk would be his first defense. If Punk agreed, they wouldn’t have a problem.

Punk stated that the two had a Seth Rollins problem. Paul Heyman then appeared alongside Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, cutting the two off. Heyman went off on the Quebec crowd and then advised Knight not to get into the favor business with CM Punk, as it would cost him everything in life.

Punk cut him off, stating that if Heyman wanted to put his hands on both of his chins or the two Brons, they should step in the ring. Heyman agreed and announced that it would happen tonight: CM Punk & LA Knight vs. Bron Breakker & Bron Breakker.

Knight stated they weren’t here for the two, but Punk cut him off, accepting the match. Knight then stated that Punk didn’t speak for him and accepted the match himself. Heyman and Reed went to leave as Breakker started advancing toward the ring. Heyman and Reed stopped Breakker as they went backstage.

The match was set up following their last week’s encounter, where Americano’s attack on Lee aided Mysterio, who continued to attack Lee after the match and was aided by Styles.

The four men put on a good match, but in the end, Americano and Mysterio both put a metal plate in their masks and used it to get the win as Mysterio headbutted Styles, allowing Americano to pin Styles and register a win.
