WWE RAW Results & Winners (December 30, 2024): Drew McIntyre claymores Jey Uso, CM Punk Seth Rollins heated face-off & more

Dakota Kai & Lyra Valkyria advances, new match announced for the debut show, & more!
The final episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, U.S.A. on December 30. It also marked the last episode on the USA Network as WWE RAW made its debut on Netflix.
The debut episode on Netflix is scheduled for January 6 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. Three high-stakes matches are announced for the debut episode, along with multiple appearances from top stars.

WWE Raw Summary and Highlights
New Day
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods kicked off the show as they yelled at the production crew to cut off the New Day’s music. The crowd showered boos as Kofi and Woods tried to speak, “New Day sucks!” chants filled the arena.
Kingston pleaded with Houston to let him speak, Woods tried the same but failed. Woods and Kingston stepped into the ring but the crowd boos had still not faded.
Every time one of them dared to speak the crowd boos got louder. Jey’s Uso’s music hit as the crowd went defeaning, Jey made his entrance via the crowd stands.
Jey Uso
Woods started going off on Jey as Kofi intervened and the two stars left the ring. Jey rallied the crowd as ‘New Day Sucks!’ chants filled the arena again. Jey then started talking about the clash between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
Jey then called out Drew McIntyre and asked him to come out to the ring. Solo Sikoa appeared via a video as he stated that it was the beginning of the end for the OG Bloodline. Sikoa stated that Jey should have sided with his Bloodline, and the Ula Fala was going to stay on his neck forever.
Solo promised that he would defeat Roman the next week and Jey, along with everyone, would acknowledge him. Drew McIntyre appeared as he stepped into the ring and attacked Jey Uso. McIntyre then started assaulting Jey, bouncing his head off the mat.
McIntyre looked for the Claymore as Jey intercepted with a brutal superkick. McIntyre rallied back with a Glaswegian slam as he called for the Claymore again. WWE officials and security stepped in and stopped Drew in his tracks.
McIntyre cooperated and left the ring as WWE officials checked up on Jey Uso. McIntyre turned back and darted into the ring to land a brutal Claymore on Jey. Drew then left the ring as Jey Uso lay on the mat, and officials checked up on him.
Backstage
Cath Kelley was with the American Made as she asked Chad Gable about his match against his former stablemate Otis.
Gable stated that he had started checking things off his checklist and that night he would take down Otis. Gable said that he had taught Otis everything he knew and that night he would teach him a lesson.
Chad Gable vs Otis
The bell rang as Gable and Otis started the action, with Gable trying to land some chops. Otis didn’t flinch as he took control of the match, taking down Gable with ease.
Outside the ring, Gable argued with the American-Made as Otis arrived, bouncing Gable’s head off the announcer’s desk, followed by pushing Gable into the ring post. Gable was on the top rope as he tried for the diving headbutt, but Otis moved out of the way, causing Gable to crash onto the mat.
Otis then took down Gable with a clothesline, landed a spear, and rallied the crowd behind him. Otis delivered the elbow and went for the cover, but the Creed Brothers interfered.
Akira Tozawa intervened as the Creed Brothers attacked him, and Otis stepped in, taking out the Creed Brothers. Maxine then took down Ivy Nile outside the ring.
Gable put Otis into the ankle lock as soon as he got into the ring. Otis refused to quit as Gable locked the submission even deeper. Otis rolled out, throwing Gable outside the ring.
The Creed Brothers interfered again as Otis took out both of them, ending it with a slam. Otis then locked in an ankle lock on Gable, and the student became the master.
Gable tried to get free as he slapped Otis, and Gable finally rolled, getting out of the lock. Gable somehow managed to German suplex Otis and went to the top rope for an attack, but Otis intercepted again.
Ivy Nile intercepted and grabbed Otis by his leg, allowing Gable to capitalize on the opportunity, locking in the ankle lock again. Otis tried to reach the ropes but failed to do so as he tapped. Gable picked up the win via submission.
WWE played a promo video hyping up the Last Woman Standing clash between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship on the next week’s debut episode on Netflix.
Backstage
Dominik Mysterio, Carlito, and JD McDonagh were in the Judgment Day’s clubhouse as the camera panned to Raquel Rodriguez and Finn Balor as they discussed if Liv had a plan to beat Ripley.
Balor stated that he had a plan to take down the War Raiders and Damian Priest, and he was going to follow Dominik’s lead as he would guide them to victory that night. Balor asked Raquel to give Morgan the best of luck for Monday’s clash against Rhea.
Pete Dunne attacks R-Truth
R-Truth’s music hit as the Houston crowd started singing with him. Pete Dunne appeared and ambushed Truth, taking him down and beating him until security tried to interfere and separate Dunne. Dunne, who was visibly angry, yelled that he was nobody’s “Butch!”
Backstage
Cath Kelley talked to Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai as she asked them about the upcoming IC title tournament and the unfortunate injury of Kairi Sane at the hands of the Pure Fusion Collective.
Kelley also asked about the possibility of the two advancing and facing each other in the finals of the IC title tournament. Kai stated that she would personally knock out Zoey Stark for what she did to Sane. She then said they were happy as long as one of Damage CTRL’s members won.
Iyo agreed with Kai and said it would be great to face Kai in the finals. Sky then lauded Lyra Valkyria and said that she would be a champion one day, but tonight it was her night.
Dakota Kai vs Zoey Stark – Women’s IC Title Tournament Semifinals
The bell rang as the two women started the action in the first semi-finals of the evening. Kai and Stark fought on the edge of the ring as Kai landed a head kick and went for the dive, but Stark intercepted with a splash, taking down Kai as they rolled into commercials.
Back from the commercials, Stark was in control of the semi-finals as Kai fought back, landing punches. Kai’s offensive surge helped her gain momentum as she landed the Dakota Kick from across the ring and went for the cover.
Stark kicked out at two as Kai tried to pick her up. Zoey fought back with a suplex and followed it up with a big knee. She then tried for the cover, but Kai kicked out at two. Stark landed another brutal kick and went for the cover, but Dakota kicked out just in time.
Stark went for the top rope to finish the match, but Kai intercepted mid-air. Kai delivered the Pele Kick and went for the cover. One, two, three! Dakota Kai advanced to the finals of the IC title tournament.
Damian Priest & The War Raiders vs Judgment Day
The bell rang as the tag action went live. Balor and Priest started the action as Dirty Dom tried to attack him from behind. Priest intercepted, and as Balor tried to capitalize, he failed. Priest and the War Raiders were now in control.
Erik was in the ring as he took out every member of the Judgment Day. Ivar was now in the ring as Erik picked him up and slammed him down onto McDonagh. Erik was laying waste to McDonagh as the referee checked on him. Ivar was tagged in.
Ivar picked up McDonagh as Balor stepped in, pulling McDonagh away. Erik and Ivar took out Balor and McDonagh with a powerful push that caused them to crash face-first onto the announcer’s desk. Back from the commercials, Balor was in control as Erik succeeded in tagging Ivar.
Ivar darted into the ring and took out Balor. McDonagh tried to intervene but ate a spinning kick for his troubles. Ivar managed to tag Priest, who darted in and grabbed Mysterio, who was outside and started beating him up. McDonagh tried to attack but got flatlined by Damian.
Priest now looked for the South of Heaven on Dirty Dom, but Carlito interfered as Dirty Dom Erik took out Carlito ringside as McDonagh took him out with a moonsault. Ivar then took out McDonagh.
Inside the ring, Priest landed the South of Heaven on Dirty Dom and picked up the win for his team in the six-man tag match.
After the match, Priest celebrated the win as Balor stepped in and attacked Priest. Balor and Carlito targeted Priest’s left leg. Balor went to the top rope for the Coup de Grâce, but Erik and Ivar stepped in for the save.
Backstage
Jey Uso was backstage when General Adam Pearce stepped in and asked Jey to calm down. He informed him that he had personally escorted Drew McIntyre out of the arena.
Pearce stated that if Jey wanted to fight, he would get it next week and announced a match between Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre for the debut episode of Netflix next week.
Ludwig Kaiser
Back from the commercials, Ludwig Kaiser was in the ring as he picked up the mic and addressed the Houston crowd, demanding all their gratitude for “Ludwig Kaiser.”
Kaiser stated that he belonged at the top of the food chain in WWE and that he was A+ in everything. Kaiser then demanded Bron Breakker step into the arena with his Intercontinental title.
Sheamus returns
Sheamus’ music hit as the Celtic Warrior made his return for the first time since the Survivor Series 2024 PLE. He was last time seen during the triple threat action against Breakker and Kaiser for the IC title.
Sheamus and Kaiser started a brawl as the Celtic Warrior darted into the ring without wasting any time. Sheamus beat down Kaiser and finished the assault with a Brogue Kick.
Backstage
LWO and The Alpha Academy were backstage as Rey Mysterio cheered up Otis and stated that he would get back the loss against Chad Gable.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods walked in as Kingston sarcastically clapped at the advice. Mysterio warned them not to mess with him right now.
Kingston mocked and asked if this was how a locker room leader led. Mysterio stated that a locker room leader always led, and if they had a problem, they could solve it inside the ring.
Woods asked who Mysterio would pick next, another “Rey Mysterio cosplaying guy” from the LWO. Woods and Kofi mocked the LWO as Zelina Vega told Rey to shut them up. Xavier Woods accepted the challenge and said that they would see him really soon.
Iyo Sky vs Lyra Valkyria – Women’s IC Title Tournament Semifinals
The bell rang as Iyo Sky and Lyra Valkyria started the action in a feeling-out process with back-and-forth exchanges. Sky and Valkyria exchanged high-octane moves and multiple pinfall attempts as Dakota Kai watched her friend Iyo Sky from the crowd.
Valkyria attacked Sky’s injured knee and followed it up with a suicide dive, taking out Sky outside the ring. Sky tried to fight back, but Lyra again targeted the injured knee. Back from the commercials, the action continued as Sky fought through the pain to rally back into the match.
Sky hyped the crowd and went to the top rope to land a missile dropkick. She covered for the pinfall, but Lyra kicked out at two.
Sky was once again on the ropes as Valkyria intercepted. Both women were on the top rope, with Valkyria picking up Sky for a drop, but Sky escaped. Valkyria instantly started the attack on Sky, taking her down with a tornado DDT and a slam. Valkyria went for the cover, but Sky kicked out at two.
Sky fought back with a German suplex right into a cover, but Lyra kicked out. Valkyria was on the top rope as Sky joined her, landing shots on the top rope. Sky took down Valkyria from the top rope and went for the cover, but somehow Valkyria kicked out.
Sky was on the top rope again as she took out Lyra with a moonsault. Back inside the ring, Sky went to the top rope for another attack, but Valkyria rolled out of harm’s way. Sky rolled Valkyria into a cover, but Valkyria reversed the roll and went for the pinfall.
One, two, three! Lyra Valkyria defeated Iyo Sky and advanced to the finals of the IC title tournament.
CM Punk & Seth Rollins face-off
Seth Rollins‘ music hit as The Visionary made the walk down the entrance ramp amid crowd chants. Back from commercials, Rollins picked up the mic and welcomed the Houston crowd to “Monday Night Rollins.”
Rollins asked the crowd to go out with a bang for the last episode of 2024 and the final episode on the USA Network. Rollins cut a promo for the next week’s clash between him and CM Punk.
Seth stated that he would be there after the match last week, and he would be fighting inside the ring because that’s what he does. But if things didn’t go Punk’s way, he would cry about it, complain, and go home.
CM Punk’s music hit as The Second City Saint made his way into the ring. Punk picked up the mic and went off on Rollins for his choice of words. Punk then asked if “The Man” (Becky Lynch) had taken her balls and gone home.
Punk stated that he had no regrets and didn’t want to talk about the last ten years, but the last ten months. The Second City Saint asked how Rollins’ neck was after Bronson Reed had decimated him and he couldn’t exact his revenge while he broke his leg at WarGames.
Rollins fired back, stating that his wife was back home, resting, and taking care of their kid, which Punk wouldn’t know a thing about.
Rollins stated that he fought and stayed back, and that’s how martyrs are made not by running away. He said Punk couldn’t “big brother” him because he was the big brother now.
Punk replied that Rollins wouldn’t be here if not for pioneers like him. Punk stated that he loved the place but hated the owner, who oddly loved Rollins.
The Second City Saint revealed that he left because he had to, that he pulled all the arrows out of his back, and that the fandom mostly chanted his name during Rollins’ appearances.
Punk stated that he would walk into LA next week with all the arrows, and he would jam them all into Rollins’ throat.
The crowd erupted into “CM Punk” chants as Rollins stated that Punk might have been a pioneer once upon a time, but now he had become a “cancer” to the locker room, to everybody, and the only way to remove it was to cut it out.
Rollins promised to burn Punk to the ground come January 6. The two stars locked eyes as the final episode of 2024 came to an end.
