WWE Raw Summary and Highlights

WWE Raw June 1, 26 Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu & The Usos
(Courtesy: WWE.com)
  • Roman Reigns, along with the Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) and Jacob Fatu, kicked off the show. Jey wanted to address Fatu for not following the Usos’ orders. Fatu responded by once again reminding that he only acknowledges his OTC, and Roman agreed, stating that he doesn’t need “Yes Men.”
    • Reigns reminded Fatu that the Bloodline has been running things since the Wild Samoans, Yokozuna, Rikishi, Umaga, and even the Usos. Reigns then presented Fatu with his own Ula Fala and welcomed him to the family business and to the Bloodline. Comedian Eric Andre, who was in the crowd, then greeted everyone, even touching Fatu’s Ula Fala, for which Fatu attacked him.
    • Fatu dragged Andre into the ring and went to the top rope as Roman climbed the apron to stop Fatu. Roman then changed his mind and ordered Fatu to deliver the splash. The Samoan Werewolf obliged, hitting Andre with a splash. The Bloodline was about to leave, but Roman then asked Fatu to deliver another one, and Fatu delivered a second splash on Andre.
  • Queen of the Ring Semifinal: Iyo Sky defeated Raquel Rodriguez to advance into the finals. She will battle the winner of the second semi-final between Charlotte Flair and Liv Morgan.
  • Backstage, Liv Morgan tried to get Danhausen to curse Oba Femi and help Dominik Mysterio, but Danhausen demanded human money and a whole list of demands.
  • In a pre-recorded promo, Seth Rollins challenged Bron Breakker to a Steel Cage match at Night of Champions.
  • Backstage, GM Adam Pearce informed Lyra Valkyria that she and Bayley would receive a title opportunity. LA Knight then approached the GM and raised concerns about The Bloodline’s interference on SmackDown. Pearce replied that as far as he knew, Solo Sikoa isn’t aligned with Roman Reigns. Knight responded that he would deal with the situation the only way he knew how.
  • Chad Gable was interviewed by Jackie Redmond. Gable admitted that after losing the mask and gaining admiration for lucha libre, he realized that he had been wrong about many things and said he needed to make amends with several people. Gable then ran into Maxxine Dupri, who was chatting with Austin Theory.
  • Chad Gable vs Rusev: Gable defeated Rusev and was attacked by Rusev and Page after the match. Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee made the save.
  • Backstage, The Usos approached Roman, with Jey questioning why he didn’t instruct Jacob Fatu to listen to them in his absence. Reigns explained that he had changed plans and told them to consider how Jacob felt as an outsider within his own family. Roman then asked why LA Knight was still running his mouth. Jey offered to handle the situation, but Reigns said he would send Fatu instead.
  • Bron Breakker delivered a promo, accepting Rollins’ challenge, and labeling him a sheep in wolf’s clothing. Breakker added that when someone is locked in a cage with a dog, the dog is always the one that makes it out in the end.
  • LA Knight arrived for a promo, complaining about Roman Reigns and the Bloodline and that he always has to fight the numbers, and just like he said, the Bloodline came to help Jey. Jimmy Uso arrived to diffuse the situation, stating that Knight needs to believe things are different now and Solo Sikoa is no longer part of their faction. Knight pointed out that Sikoa cost him the match and won it for Jey.
    • Jey Uso then arrived and demanded that Knight acknowledge him. Knight said that the only thing he acknowledged was that Jey could kiss his ass. This kicked off a brawl, and Big Jim then joined the fray, dropping Knight with a Super Kick. Jimmy attempted to prevent Jey from using a chair on Knight, but Knight fought until Fatu arrived to lay out Knight with the Tongan Death Grip.
  • Backstage, Jacob Fatu said they had tried handling things Jey’s and Jimmy’s way, but neither approach had worked, which is why he took care of the situation the OTC’s way instead.
  • Charlotte Flair vs Roxanne Perez: Flair won the match after locking in the figure four leglock and forcing Perez to tap.
  • Je’Von Evans cut a promo about winning the semi-finals against Jey Uso and going to the finals of the KOTR. Logan Paul then returned wearing a brace due to the tricep injury, alongside Austin Theory. They tried to recruit Evans into the Vision faction, but Evans instead proposed a match, which was made official.
  • Je’Von Evans vs Austin Theory: Evans defeated Theory via disqualification as Bron Breakker attacked Evans mid-air with a spear. Angelo Dawkins of the Street Profits returned to join Montez Ford and the Profits made the save for Evans.
  • During commercials, Jey Uso cut a promo about defeating Je’Von Evans and winning the King of the Ring tournament against whoever won between Oba and Dominik. He also said that he will face Cody and become the Undisputed Champion.
  • Backstage, Jacob Fatu caught up with Roman, who asked if he had taken care of the situation, and Fatu responded that he had handled LA Knight. Reigns said that the Usos don’t understand him, and Fatu agreed. Reigns assured him that he did, as long as Jacob understood him, nobody could stop them. The two then embraced, and Reigns quietly whispered something in Fatu’s ear.
  • King of the Ring Semifinal: Oba Femi defeated Dominik Mysterio, despite interference from JD McDonagh, to advance into the finals. Femi then cut a promo about winning the tournament, and then said that he was surprised Brock Lesnar didn’t show his face tonight. Femi questioned Brock’s legacy and said, “When all is said and done, I will be king, and you will just be the man that ran from Oba Femi.”
