  • Oba Femi received a thunderous welcome from Paris as he kicked off the show. Femi noted how Paul Heyman didn’t believe in prediction; he believes in spoilers, and here’s his: he will power through the KOTR tournament, and will go to Night of Champions and destroy whoever is in front of him, and will be the King of the Ring, and that’s not a prediction, that’s a spoiler.
    • Femi then mentioned that there is still one trophy to collect, and that is the head of Brock Lesnar, as the score is 1-1. Femi complained that Brock cheated to win and hid like a big bad b*tch, but when Femi finds Lesnar, he will settle the score. This brings out Dominik Mysterio, who says that Oba should be worried about him.
    • Mysterio asked how long the rookie has been, while noting that he is a 20-year veteran, he is the King of the Luchadores, and when he becomes King of the Ring, he will rule over Oba. Mysterio asked Oba to bend the knee, as JD McDonagh attacked Femi with a steel chair from behind, and he messed up.
    • McDonagh went flying after a right hand as Mysterio attacked Femi with a 619 and went for the Frog Splash, as Femi caught him mid-air for a slam. McDonagh pulled Mysterio out of the ring for the save as Femi said that next week he will introduce Dom to his daddy.
  • Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviewed Seth Rollins about the win over Bron Breakker and asked if he’s done with the Vision. Rollins stated that when he was in the Vision, it was the future, but now it’s the past, and the future is to win the King of the Ring and to take back the title he never lost. He added that he has a date somewhere down the line with Roman Reigns. Rollins then sent a warning to Reigns.
  • Queen of the Ring first-round matchLiv Morgan vs Becky Lynch vs Alexa Bliss vs Chelsea Green: Morgan stole the win on her birthday via a roll-up on Chelsea Green. She has advanced to the semi-final of the tournament.
  • Backstage, Chad Gable appeared as Penta was preparing his title defense against Rey Mysterio. Gable informed Penta that he apologized to Rey Fenix, stating that it all started with their match, and he didn’t take the loss well. Gable then apologized to Penta, who told him that if he wants to do right by Lucha Libre, then he knows who he needs to talk to. Gable said that he knew and left.
  • Backstage, Montez Ford met with Seth Rollins, wishing him luck for the tournament, and Rollins asked how Dawkins was doing. The Usos and Jacob Fatu arrived, with Jey warning that Seth should watch what he says about their family. He said that he’s in the tournament and will win to battle Cody Rhodes for the title.
    • Seth stated that he’s happy for Jey, but pointed out Jimmy didn’t even get a chance; he has to sit on the sidelines. Rollins said that he is never talking about their family, but about Roman, and expressed his disappointment with the Usos as Jey asked Fatu to get Rollins. Fatu faced off with Rollins and left as the Usos watched in disbelief, and Rollins smirkingly said, “Family, huh!”
  • Bayley and Lyra Valkyria discussed Lyra’s upcoming title match against Sol Ruca.
  • Sol Ruca (c) vs Lyra Valkyria – Women’s Intercontinental title match: Ruca defeated Valkyria to retain the title after delivering the Sol Snatched.
  • Backstage, The Usos confronted Jacob Fatu for leaving them hanging against Seth Rollins. Fatu clarified that he didn’t acknowledge them, but he acknowledged Roman Reigns. Fatu told them to worry about their boy, LA Knight, who is running his mouth, while they’re not doing anything.
  • During a commercial break, Ricky Saints cut a promo, stating that he would win the King of the Ring tournament.
  • LA Knight previewed the upcoming KOTR first-round match and stated that he is aiming for Roman Reigns. Knight blasted Reigns, who’s got everyone trapped in the Bloodline vortex. He predicted a member of the Bloodline would help Jey on Friday in the match.
    • Knight once again predicted that if he wins and faces off with Roman, then the Bloodline members and even their grandfather will get involved to make sure Reigns is the champion, and that’s because of Adam Pearce, who’s got his favorite, and he isn’t the favorite. LA concluded, wishing Jey would do it on his own in the match on Friday. That brought out Jey Uso.
    • Jey asked Knight to stay in the damn lame, and he is in the KOTR tournament, and on Friday, he will show Knight who he is, and this is his warning shot! Knight stopped Jey, who had exited the ring, stating that Jey misunderstood him, and he respected that Jey is protective of his family, but from the bottom of his heart, screw his family. Jey started walking towards the ring as Big Jim rushed in to take Jey away from the ring.
  • Backstage, Chad Gable approached Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio. Lee lauded Gable and his effort to apologize. Mysterio agreed and stated that after watching his mask vs mask match, he felt that was true Lucha Libre, and he accepted the apology. Rey then told Chad to look back a little further, and he would find something that he might regret, way before he put the mask on.
  • Penta (c) vs Rey Mysterio – Intercontinental title match: Penta defeated Rey Mysterio to retain the title in his ninth title defense. Ethan Page and Rusev attacked the two after the match. Dragon Lee rushed in to aid Rey and Penta.
    • However, the numbers game caught up with him as Page sent him flying into the timekeepers’ area. Rusev ripped off Rey’s mask as Penta jumped to cover Rey’s face. Chad Gable then rushed in to aid Rey, taking down both Page and Rusev with multiple suplexes. Lee rushed in with a towel as Gable picked up Rey’s mask and gave it to Penta, who, along with Lee, helped Rey put it back on.
  • A promo aired where Raquel Rodriguez looked back upon her win in the first-round match and sent a warning to Iyo Sky, reminding her that the last time they met, she secured the win, and next week it will be no different. Raquel added that she will then take the title off her BFF, Rhea Ripley.
  • Iyo Sky replied to Rodriguez in her own promo, stating that Raqul has no honor, no heart, and everything she does is the ego of Liv Morgan. Skt concluded by stating that she will put the Judgment Day in its place, and at SummerSlam, she will become what Raquel has never been, a World Champion.
  • Backstage, Roxanne Perez apologized to Liv Morgan for last week’s argument after losing in the tournament, suggesting it would be ideal for Morgan to win the QOTR Tournament and potentially meet Raquel in the final. However, Morgan quickly shifted focus to discuss a plan to help Dominik overcome Oba Femi.
  • King of the Ring first-round match- Seth Rollins vs Je’Von Evans vs Talla Tonga vs Ricky Saints: Asutin Theory interfered in the match as Montez Ford came in to aid Seth Rollins. Bron Breakker then came in to spear Rollins. Saints went to steal the win as Evans delivered the OG Cutter on Saints to win and advance into the semi-finals.
