WWE Raw Summary and Highlights
Cody Rhodes – John Cena
The 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena stepped in the ring as the fans expectedly turned hostile, “Let’s go, Cena! Cena sucks!” chants roared through the arena as Cena put the mic on the floor but picked it up as the crowd started chanting “You sold out!” Cena dropped the mic and prepared to leave but turned around and picked up the mic. As he started to speak, the crowd drowned him again in boos.
Cena stated that the crowd was making it very easy for him, as for 25 years, he had been a victim, the victim of an abusive relationship. As the crowd started booing, Cena cut them off. “You sold out!” chants filled the arena again as Cena fired back, stating that the fans were abusive, as they had bullied him to put a smile on his face.
“F*ck you! Cena” chants roared in the arena, as John mockingly thanked the crowd for being very kind and clarified that he was not a babyface and neither a heel; he was a human being. He stated that the fans would get what they had earned, which was ‘nothing’ no new look, no new music, and the only thing they would get was a long look in the mirror to see how awful they had been to him for 25 years.
“We want Cody!” chants filled the arena as Cena pointed out that Cody was the new toy, and the fans were proving his point that they were awful people. “Let’s go, Cena! Cena Sucks!” chants filled the arena once again. Cena then went off on the “Let’s go Cena” people, stating that while they claimed to support him, what had they done for him apart from stealing his time, his personal moments, making him a toy, and turning him into the butt of their personal joke (hinting at the ‘U Can’t See Me’ meme).
Cena also called his relationship with the fans ‘toxic and dysfunctional’ and announced that he was breaking up with every single person, whether they liked him or not, and he didn’t care about them. Cody Rhodes‘ music hit, and the American Nightmare emerged as the crowd roared in welcoming the Undisputed WWE Champion!
Rhodes stepped into the arena and stared down Cena as he picked up the mic. The crowd was thunderous as they cheered for Cody. Cena looked disappointed and angry as Cody rallied the crowd behind him. The two stars were now mere inches away from each other as the Brussels crowd was electric!
Rhodes stated that everybody was willing to hear Cena out including him and pointed out that the fans might have been at their worst but also their best because Cena was the best because Cena could carry it. Cena went to reply, stating, “Listen kid!” but Cody interrupted him, reminding him that it’s not kid, it’s the WWE Champion.
Cody asked who he was, the guy on the shirt, the guy he was excited to go face to face with, and instead, he got ‘this.’ Rhodes claimed that he took Cena’s best shot and that he should find ‘himself ‘John Cena’ because he wanted to wrestle him, not ‘this whiny b*tch.’
Cody dropped the mic as Cena looked angry and left the arena. Rhodes turned around as the anger was dripping down Cena’s face. Rhodes greeted the crowd as they roared, “Cody, Cody Rhodes!” Cena then threw the mic and left the ring as the crowd continued the boos.
Penta vs Ludwig Kaiser – No-holds-barred match
The bell rang as Penta called on Kaiser, who fired back as they traded heavy blows. Penta sent Kaiser outside the ring and followed, but Kaiser sent him over the barricade. The two stars continued to exchange blows and high-flying attacks as both fought for control of the match.
Kaiser attacked with a steel chair, driving it into Penta’s neck. Penta fought back, pushing the chair away, hyperextending Kaiser’s arm, and grabbing the chair. Ludwig pleaded, admitting defeat and surrendering. Kaiser tried to counter, but Penta struck back with the steel chair, followed by a Mexican Destroyer from the top rope onto the chair. Penta finished with the Penta Driver to pick up the win.
After the match, Cathy Kelly walked in to interview Penta, asking him what was next for him heading into WrestleMania. Penta thanked the Brussels crowd and declared that the Intercontinental Championship was his next target before cutting a passionate promo in his native tongue!

Dominik Mysterio walked in as Balor thanked him for securing the title shot against Bron Breakker that night. Mysterio mentioned that he had been talking to some people and had some ideas. As Liv tried to intervene, Dominik continued and floated the idea of adding Penta to Judgment Day.
Balor snapped at Dirty Dom, pointing out that Penta had just declared his intention to go after his Intercontinental title. Finn called Dominik a snake and stormed off. Dominik, confused, claimed he didn’t know about Penta’s declaration. Carlito replied sarcastically that Dominik definitely didn’t watch the show.
Dakota Kai vs Ivy Nile
The bell rang as Kai and Nile went right after each other American Made (Chad Gable & the Creed Brothers) was ringside keeping a close eye on the action, Kai sent Nile down with a kick and went for the attack, but Gable intercepted, allowing Nile to capitalize.
Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio (LWO) darted into the ring to even the odds, and ambushed the Creed Brothers, turning their attention to Chad Gable, who ran through the crowd stands. The distraction allowed Kai to land a brutal kick followed by the GTK. She covered Nile for the pinfall, as Dakota Kai defeated Ivy Nile in the second match of the show.
Contract signing for the Women’s World Championship clash at WrestleMania 41
General Manager Adam Pearce announced both the champion Iyo Sky and the challenger Bianca Belair, giving them the floor with the contract laid out on the table. Sky picked up the mic and declared that neither Belair nor Rhea Ripley would disrespect her again because she was the Women’s World Champion, and after WrestleMania, she would still be the Women’s World Champion.
Sky signed the contract as Belair picked up the mic and stated that she respected Sky, but if Sky thought she could put her hands on her without consequences, she was mistaken. Belair promised to become the new Women’s World Champion at Mania and signed the contract.
As Pearce congratulated them, Rhea Ripley‘s music hit, and the Eradicator walked in. Pearce demanded to know what Rhea was doing there, calling for officials. Ripley fired back, stating that Sky slapped her in the face and that she wasn’t going to do nothing like Belair did.
Belair replied that she had to sign the contract, but Ripley shot back, saying she was simply there to watch just as Belair did during her title clash. Sky tried to intervene, but Belair pushed her back. Ripley took advantage, taking Belair out with a brutal headbutt. Rhea then picked up Sky and slammed the champion onto the table, right on top of Belair.
Ripley grabbed the contract and signed it as the crowd went wild. She took the contract with her as Pearce pleaded for her to give it back. The two argued while retreating backstage, as officials rushed to check on Sky and Belair.
Jey Uso vs Austin Theory
Jey Uso had a little run-in with World Heavyweight Champion Gunther ahead of his entrance while he was cutting a promo but Adam Peacre and officials made sure that the two were separated. After Theory and Jey made the walk the bell rang as Theory capitalized on the distraction caused by Grayson Waller. Jey fired back, taking down Theory with a vicious spear and covering him for the pin.
Jey Uso defeated Austin Theory with ease. After the match, Waller attempted to ambush Jey but was met with a superkick for his troubles. Jey then took out both Waller and Theory with a suicide dive. Gunther stepped into the ring and locked in the sleeper hold again, but Jey managed to break free and pounded on the champion, eventually stealing the Heavyweight title from Gunther’s waist.
As Gunther tried to attack, Jey pulled the ropes down, sending the champion crashing outside the ring. Jey posed on the top rope before tossing the title back to Gunther, who caught it, yelling at Jey as officials rushed in to diffuse the situation.

Adam Pearce and officials rushed in, desperately trying to contain the chaotic brawl.
The Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed) vs LWO (Dragon Lee & Rey Mysterio)
The tag action was set following their altercation earlier in the show, despite the Creed Brothers showcasing dominance in the early moments of the match. Lee tagged in Mysterio who took control and landed the iconic 619 on Julius Creed to pick up the win for LWO.
The American-made luchador ambushed both Mysterio and Lee after the match battering both with vicious German suplexes and escaped before security could catch him.
Seth Rollins
The Visionary stood in the ring, picking up the mic and welcoming the Brussels crowd to “Monday Night Rollins!” The crowd once again broke into singing his theme song as Rollins watched in awe.
Rollins admitted that he came out mad as hell, but the crowd’s beautiful voices serenaded him. As “CM Punk” chants filled the arena, Seth acknowledged them, stating he would address Punk, but first, he wanted to talk about Roman Reigns. “OTC” chants echoed throughout the arena.
He admitted he wasn’t mad at Reigns because he would have done the same thing. Then, Rollins went off on Punk, claiming that if he had a few seconds in the cage, he would have stomped Punk’s head into the mat, ending his WrestleMania dream.
The Visionary declared he would’ve taken care of the CM Punk problem for everyone, even for Roman Reigns. The crowd erupted in “OTC” chants as Rollins vowed to put Reigns in his place.
He then pointed out that Roman Reigns and CM Punk would be live on Friday Night SmackDown this week and floated the idea of traveling to Italy to solve the problem. Rollins wrapped up his promo by hyping the main event of the night and announcing his appearance for this week’s SmackDown.
Backstage
Cathy Kelley was backstage with AJ Styles, asking him about his Logan Paul callout. As Styles prepared to speak, the crowd erupted. Karrion Kross walked in with Scarlett, and Styles immediately stated that he didn’t want to do this. Kross responded that if Styles didn’t want to talk, that was fine, but Styles signaled he was willing to listen.
Kross suggested that maybe Styles wasn’t mad at Logan Paul but at himself, pointing out that it didn’t take Logan Paul 17 years to get into WWE as it did for Styles. Styles replied that he knew what Kross was trying to do, and it wouldn’t work. As Styles walked away, Kross remarked that he thought it was working already, while Scarlett laughed, ending the segment.
Bron Breakker (c) vs Finn Balor – WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
The bell rang, and the main event was underway as the two stars locked horns in the middle of the ring. Breakker took down Balor with a powerful shoulder tackle. Balor quickly showcased his speed and experience, taking down the champion directly into a side lock.
Breakker went for a spear ringside, but Balor countered with a sling blade right onto the concrete floor. Balor mocked the champion, slapping and kicking him, but his taunts only fueled Breakker’s rage. Breakker fired back with brute strength, launching Balor across the ring and following it up with a power slam.
Breakker picked up Balor as Dominik Mysterio and Carlito darted into the ring. Balor tried to capitalize, rolling the champion up for a cover, but Breakker kicked out at two. Balor continued his offense, but was visibly frustrated, questioning Dominik’s presence. Breakker went ballistic, taking down Balor with a vicious clothesline.
The match continued as Balor rolled outside the ring as Breakker, bleeding from his mouth, picked himself up and signaled for the finish. Balor fought back with a knee and climbed up the ropes. Breakker intercepted him and joined him on the second rope.
As Carlito distracted the official, Dominik interfered, dragging Breakker off the ropes but accidentally causing Balor to crash on the ropes. Breakker then took down Carlito and Dominik before landing the final blow a brutal spear to Balor. He covered him for the win. Bron Breakker defeated Finn Balor to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
After the match, Dominik and Carlito ambushed Breakker. Dominik rushed out of the ring to grab the IC title, but Penta’s music hit, and he darted into the ring, taking down Dominik, who attempted to attack him with the title.
