Dragon Lee returns, King & Queen of the Tournament announced & more!
The May 24, 2026, edition of Monday Night Raw concluded at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. The show emanated in the aftermath of the May 23 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, which concluded last week in Indiana.
With Clash in Italy approaching, the show also served as the go-home show for the PLE, hyping up fans for the announced matches as stars set to collide met for the final time. WWE also announced the start of the King & Queen of the Ring tournament, which is set for next week’s show.

WWE Raw Summary and Highlights
Paul Heyman kicked off the show, before a vignette aired where Brock Lesnar congratulated Oba Femi on his WrestleMania victory, but warned that the win would come at a price greater than Femi could imagine. Lesnar promised that a humbled Beast would destroy him and vowed to dominate him.
Femi interrupted, telling Paul Heyman that he would retire Lesnar for a second time, adding that the four F5s had made things personal. He signed the contract, stating that while last time he was fighting to beat Lesnar, this time he’s fighting to kill him.
In the first match of the show, Penta defeated Je’Von Evans in another incredible match to retain the Intercontinental title. After Michael Cole announced that Logan Paul suffered a torn tricep at SNME and will be out for a number of months, Austin Theory met with Paul Heyman backstage.
Theory discussed relinquishing the titles in the absence of Logan, but Heyman revealed that he can defend them alongside Bron Breakker. Theory said he wanted to do something for Logan Paul, adding that he wanted to take out every person involved in hurting him. Heyman responded by saying that Theory knew what he had to do that night and to whom.
Moments later, Theory crashed Joe Hendry’s concert about firing Logan Paul (“Can we Fire Logan Paul?”), attacking him with a steel chair. Backstage, Seth Rollins tried to convince Angelo Dawkins to form an alliance against the Vision, when Montez Ford arrived and challenged him to a match.
After the referee caught Liv Morgan interfering in the tag team match where Bayley and Lyra Valkyria were taking on Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez, Dominik Mysterio continued to interfere, trying to help his stablemates. However, the idea backfired as after a tug of war with the AAA title, Bayley let go of the title as Perez ended up crashing into Dominik and Bayley scored the win via roll-up.
Meanwhile, in a backstage segment, General Manager Adam Pearce talked to Roman Reigns about how Jacob Fatu should be fired, let alone fight Roman. Reigns stated that he has to read the contract for the match, noting that if he wins, Fatu will serve him. However, if he somehow loses, he wishes luck to WWE because they will need it.
Back in the arena, LA Knight walked out for a promo, announcing that King of the Ring starts next week and he’s throwing his name into the mix. Knight then mentioned going after the Champion, Roman Reigns, and how the Usos fit into the equation. Jimmy Uso then interrupted and warned Knight to stay away from the family business. Knight responded that he would end the family business if he had to.
Backstage, Rey Mysterio discusses with GM Adam Pearce about booking the IC title after the segment with Penta earlier. Ethan Page rolled up and asked for his rematch, which Pearce pointed out he hasn’t earner and Page complained about what Mysterio has done to deserve the title shot. Rusev then appeared, leading to a match between the two.
Furthermore, Seth Rollins defeated Montez Ford, and Austin Theory attacked Angelo Dawkins after the match, hitting him with multiple chair shots, until officials arrived. Backstage, Ford was chatting with GM Pearce when Rollins rolled up asking if Dawkins was okay. Ford acknowledged that Rollins was right, and they have a bigger fish to fry, and since Dawkins is out, it’s on them.
Rollins stated that he has cut the head off the snake and asked for a rematch against Bron Breakker. Pearce stated that he will talk to Paul Heyman. In another segment, Becky Lynch cut a promo ahead of her title defense against Sol Ruca at Clash in Italy.
In the final match of the show, Rey Mysterio defeated Rusev to secure the IC title shot. Ethan Page was on commentary, while Rusev launched a post-match assault on Rey when Dragon Lee returned to make the save. Backstage, GM Pearce kicked Austin Theory out of the building for his actions. Theory shared a glance with Maxxine Dupri while leaving.
The rematch is official
GM Adam Pearce moderated the Tribal Combat contract signing between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu. Fatu signed the contract and started destroying the setup, almost coming to blows with the security guards until Reigns arrived. After Reigns signed the contract, he ordered everyone to leave the ring, while Fatu agreed not to lay a hand on him until Clash in Italy.
Reigns said things could have been that simple from the start, so they could focus on the next mission, but Fatu fired back by saying he was not like everyone else. Fatu acknowledged that their family had brought them to where they were, but insisted it was time for a change.
The Samoan Werewolf warned that once he won the title, everyone would face consequences. Reigns responded by vowing to make Fatu serve and eventually love him. Fatu brushed it off, saying Reigns would still have a job, but promised to make him acknowledge him at Clash in Italy.
