Men’s Money in the Bank winner Penta opened the show by thanking the fans and his opponents. He vowed to become a world champion whenever he decided to cash in his contract.

Je’Von Evans interrupted and congratulated Penta, but the celebration was cut short when Bron Breakker stormed into the ring and hit Evans with a Spear. Evans had arrived with a sling on his right arm and bandages around his ribs following his dangerous fall during Money in the Bank.

Rey Mysterio vs Big Cass

The first in-ring action took place as Rey Mysterio battled Big Cass. Cass used his size advantage to control portions of the contest, but Mysterio relied on his speed and experience to create openings.

Frustrated, Big Cass looked to overpower Rey Mysterio, but the Hall of Famer showed his experience and agility as her countered most of the moves and even delivered some hits on the giant. In the closing moment, Dragon Lee distracted Cass at a crucial moment, allowing Mysterio to hit the 619 and finish the match with a Springboard Victory Roll.

The finish wasn’t very convincing, as Big Cass has been losing to smaller opponents more often lately, signaling that the push for him following his return is already over.

Winner: Rey Mysterio

Liv Morgan celebrates her title victory; Roxanne Perez defeats Chelsea Green

Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan celebrated regaining her championship and declared her intention to become a two-time Crown Jewel winner. WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green interrupted, setting up a tense exchange ahead of their champion-versus-champion clash. Morgan dismissed Green as a placeholder champion, prompting Roxanne Perez to challenge her. Adam Pearce made the match official.

Although the match was a surprise for fans, it was a good performance from Perez and Green. The champion in particular had to deal with Judgment Day too. Liv Morgan impacted the game as she distracted Green, allowing Perez to hit Pop Rox for the win. Following the match, Morgan hit Green with Oblivion as The Judgment Day stood tall.

Winner: Roxanne Perez

Grade: B+

Insights & Backstage Moments:

  • The Usos were preparing for the match, but there seemed to be some misunderstandings between the Uso brothers and Solo Sikoa.
  • The Champion vs Champion clash between Liv Morgan and Chelsea Green was confirmed for Crown Jewel; also announced for the PLE is Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn.

Oba Femi confronts Paul Heyman

Oba Femi reflected on his victory over Bronson Reed at Money in the Bank and declared that everyone would eventually have to acknowledge his dominance. Paul Heyman praised Femi as the future of WWE, drawing comparisons with his former clients Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.

Femi, however, made it clear that he was not looking to become another Paul Heyman Guy. He insisted that he was an “Oba Femi Guy,” reinforcing his independence and confidence.

Grade: A-

Insights & Backstage Moments:

  • IYO SKY was with GM Adam Pearce, and Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez looked to belittle the former champion. SKY saw another opponent in the Judgment Day duo, but it’s still unclear who she will face.

Chad Gable (c) vs Rey Fenix – Intercontinental Championship Match

Chad Gable defended the Intercontinental Championship against Rey Fenix in one of the night’s strongest matches. Fenix used his aerial offence and explosive counters to keep the champion under pressure, while Gable repeatedly targeted his opponent with technical holds.

Fenix came close to winning after a Double Springboard Moonsault and Frog Splash, but Gable survived the onslaught. The champion ultimately trapped Fenix in a Grapevine Ankle Lock, forcing him to submit.

While the match produced some incredible moments, Dragon Lee certainly suffered some injury. The crowd, though, showed respect for both wrestlers.

Winner: Chad Gable retains the Intercontinental Championship

Grade: A

Insights & Backstage Moments:

  • After the match, Ethan Page attacked Fenix backstage, prompting Gable to intervene and protect his former opponent. The confrontation could lead to another opportunity for Fenix to challenge for the title.

The Bloodline vs The 946 – Six-Man Tag Team Match

The main event saw Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa join forces against Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price of The 946. The rivalry had intensified following weeks of attacks and Solo’s abduction.

The 946 controlled the match right from the start as they kept attacking Usos and kept tagging each other in. Jaida Parker also impacted the match and even took down the officials as the Bloodline looked to get back into the match-up.

However, the match ended without a decisive result after a masked attacker interfered. The attacker was revealed to be Carmelo Hayes, who struck Solo Sikoa and The Usos with a crowbar, helping The 946 stand tall. There were questions over Hayes’ future with the WWE, but now we git the answer.

Result: No contest

Grade: B+
