Seth Rollins challenges Bronson Reed, Jey Uso & Gunther retains, Cody & Gunther face-off & much more!

The October 07, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw is officially over and it is the Bad Blood fallout episode. This week’s show marks the return of the red roster to the two-hours format, and things seemed rushed. Although rushes, a slot of big matches and segments happened. Get to know what happened on this week’s show, as we came out with the complete summary, highlights, results and winner’s list for the show.

WWE Raw Summary & Highlights

CM Punk was live

CM Punk kicked-off Monday Night Raw addressing what happened at Hell in a Cell and his body condition. Punk said that he is still alive after going through Hell. Punk is alive, but doesn’t feel like he is. Punk is not banged up like this ever before. He wants to thank three groups of people- his fans, his peers and his haters. Punk didn’t seen his wife in five weeks and is going to spend his time with her. Seth Rollins interfered him and had a quick face-off.

Seth Rollins was live

Seth Rollins after a quick face-off with CM Punk on the entrance ramp, walked to the ring. He asked Punk to get well soon, as he will be waiting for him to kick his ass. Rollins asked the fans to sing his song. He addressed what happened on Bad Blood, Dom hanging upside down from the shark cage, Final Boss being back, Cody teaming with Roman and Kevin Owens punch his mouth. Rollins said that he came for Bronson Reed, but he is not here. Rollins cuts a promo against Reed. Rollins challenges Reed for a match with the venue of his choice.

Intercontinental Championship- Jey Uso vs Xavier Woods

Both lock hands and Woods drags him to the corner to strike his mid-section. Jey Uso side steps to escape the corner splash and fights back. Both took the fight outside the ring and Woods slammed him outside the ring. After the commercial, both exchange strikes in the middle of the ring. They exchange back to back flying elbow and Woods takes advantage with a super kick. Woods goes for the top rope and Woods eats a superkick. Jey performed a Uso Splash to pin Woods and retain the title.

Bron Breakker’s attack

Jey Uso tried to shook his hands with Woods, but Woods hesitated and walked away. Bron Breakker ran out of nowhere and performed a spear on Jey Uso. Kofi came for the save, but got speared out by Breakker. Bron performed a super spear on Xavier Woods and again speared Jey inside the ring. He posed with the IC title and walked away.

Backstage

The Miz argued with Karrion Kross and said that he has nothing to do joining Final Testament. He said that he done it for himself. R-Truth met Miz saying that he will forgive him, as he is confused. Miz doesn’t want Awesome Truth and revealed that he done it on purpose. Miz challenged Truth for a match next week. [Uncle Howdy glitch appeared saying “There You are”].

Good Ol’ Fashioned Donny Brook Match- Sheamus vs Pete Dunne

Sheamus takes the fight to Pete Dunne and fights him in the corner and performed a clothesline. Sheamus locks his neck with the Shallelagh, but Dunne poked his eyes to escape. Dunne is sent out and Sheamus tried to hit a Brogue kick, but he kicked the Whiskey Barrell. Dunne took it as an advantage to kick Sheamus on the face. He tried to stomp his fingers on the bar table, but Sheamus escaped and slammed him on the announcement table.

After the commercial, Dunne chops him and Sheamus fights back with the Shallelagh. Sheamus slammed him and meausures for Brogue kick, but missed it, however delivered a slam again. Sheamus went for the top rope, Dunne stops him to deliver a super-plex for a near fall.

Sheamus is sent out and Dunne climbs tha top of thr Whiskey Barrel, but Sheamus stops him with the Shallelagh, hit ten beats to the bodhran and performed a White Noise to break a couple of tables. Back in the ring, Sheamus hit the high knees and Razer Bomb for a near fall.

Sheamus yells and Dunne breaks his finger and struck with the cricket back, but not enough. Dunne struck with the draw and zip tied his hands. Dunne tried to strike with the bat, but Sheamus with the high knees and Brogue kick pinned Dunne to pick up the win.

Backstage- Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes was interviewed backstage. He is not clear of everything that happened at Bad Blood. He doesn’t want to talk about anything, as he came here to see who he faces for the Crown Jewel Championship match. Cody met Sami Zayn and he didn’t want to speak about Owens attack on Saturday. However, Cody wanted Sami to win against Gunther and face him at Crown Jewel.

Judgment Day & Raquel Rodriguez

Raquel Rodriguez drove the car with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio. They got interviewed backstage. Liv says that she still got the title and they look to focus on Nia Jax, than Rhea Ripley. They didn’t answer to the question if Raquel joins Judgment Day, but left the arena.

Ten Women Tag Team Match- Unholy Union & Pure Fusion Collective vs Natalya, Zelina Vega, Lyra Valkyria, Katana Chance & Kayden Carter.

Kayden Carter and Zoey Stark start the match and Zoey takes on Carter right away. Everyone enters the ring and thr brawl broke out with the babyfaces having thr upperhand. Howevrr, Sonya Deville takes Natalya to the steel steps.

After the commercial, Natalya hit a double DDT on Unholy Union and tagged Vega in. Zoey gets the tag and Vega dominates her, with takedown and a moonsault. Everyone enters the ring and take each other out. Vega locks Deville with the sleeperhold and Lyra Valkyria tags in to deliver a leg drop on back of Deville’s head and pinned her for the win.

World Heavyweight Championship Match- Gunther vs Sami Zayn

Both lock hands and Gunther locked Sami Zayn‘s head and lays him down. Sami escapes the hold and sent thr champion out. After the commercial, Gunther caught Sami, took him to the top rope chopped and tortures Sami. Gunther chops him down over and over. Sami tried to fightback, but the powerful chop gives Gunther the control. Sami tries for blue thunder bomb, but Gunther locks him with the sleeper hold, but Sami finally delivers the thunder bomb.

Gunther chopped Sami and the challenger fights back with a takedown and punches to the face. The champ rolled down and Sami chases him. Sami escapes powerbomb and performed an exploder suplex outside the ring to the barricade and delivered a Helluva kick.

Sami dragged Gunther to the ring and delivers another Helluva kick on the back of the head. When going for another, Gunther performs a wrecking clothesline, only for a nearfall. Sami counters the powerbomb to roll up, but Gunther manages to deliver one, howevee Sami kicks out. Gunther performs another clothesline and a powerbomb, but Sami kicks out again.

The champ locks him with the sleeper hold and Sami after a long try failed to reach the ropes and become unconscious. This made Gunther retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
