WWE RAW Results & Winners (September 30, 2024): Seth Rollins returns to screw Bronson Reed

Punk & Drew send final message, Gunther offers Sami the title shot, Seth Rollins returns, Miz turns on R-Truth & much more!
The September 30, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw is officially over and it is final episode of Raw, before the Bad Blood PLE & the final three hour episode of Raw for the rest of the year. WWE has booked some of the interesting matches and segments on the show, setting the stage for the upcoming PLE and the future events. Get to know what happened on this week’s episode of WWE Raw, as we came out with the complete show summary, results, winners list and highlights.
WWE Raw Summary & Highlights
Jey Uso Championship Celebration
Jey Uso kicked-off Monday Night Raw for the championship celebration. Jey got some pyros and had some blue on the title. Jey addressed how hard it was to become the singles champion after fourteen years. Jey said that his mom was her biggest fan and he made her proud.
Bron Breakker interrupted Jey and congratulated Jey for winning the title and earning his respect. He accepts that Jey was the better man last week and offers a hand shake to walk backstage.
Rey Mysterio vs Xavier Woods
Rey Mysterio and Xavier Woods have a to & fro, countering each other’s move. Rey took Woods outside the ring to perform a seated senton and then with the springboard moonsault. While trying for a 619, Woods accidentally took Rey’s mask and pinned him for the win.
Backstage
Kofi Kingston met Xavier Woods and asked if Woods removed Rey’s mask on purpose, but Woods said that it was accidentaly. Kofi wished him for pinning the former world champion and told that he spoke with Jey and confirmed a Intercontinental Championship match next week and Woods will be the challenger for the match. Woods got hyped, however asked Kofi to concentrate on tonight’s match against Chad Gable, as they could use cheap tricks.
Lyra Valkyria vs Zoey Stark
Zoey Stark heard an advise from Sonya Deville before the match and took the fight to Valkyria. Both had brief control over each other with the strikes and kicks. Zoey tried for a Z360 and Lyra went for a German Suplex. The distraction from Deville and Baszler distracted the referee. Baszler used the distraction to perform a running knee on Lyra and helped Zoey deliver a Z360 to win the match.
After the match, The Pure Fusion Collective tried to attack Lyra, but Katana Chance & Kayden Carter made the save.
CM Punk & Drew McIntyre sends final message
Adam Pearce with the bunch of securities inside the Hell in a Cell, called out CM Punk & Drew McIntyre to avoid both having their hands on each other. Drew was dressed all black and Punk was dressed white. Drew kicked off the trash talks saying that he worn all black, because he has great repect for AJ Lee, who will take care of Punk, after he broke Punk into pieces at Bad Blood.
Drew mentioned Roxanne Perez, who thought Punk as his idol and finally realized that she should have been a Drew McIntyre fan. Drew said that everyone started to hate Punk, as Punk taught how to hate others. Drew will end his hate with Punk at Hell in a Cell.
CM Punk replied to Drew saying that people call him with different names but he is voiceless now. Punk doesn’t have a word for the grabage. He looks to send Drew to Scotland in a box. He said Drew will beg to Punk for mercy inside the Hell in a Cell.
Backstage- Braun Strowman, The Miz & R-Truth
Braun Strowman while being interviewed got interfered by The Miz, asking why he interfered during his match last week. R-Truth interfered them and said that he spoke with Pearce and they have a match agains AOP. Miz wa quite upset with the call.
Six-Man Tag Team Match- The Judgment Day vs Latino World Order
Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh & Carlito of the Judgment Day faced Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde of Latino World Order in a six-man tag team match. JD McDonagh and Cruz Del Toro started the match with both countering each other’s move.
Del Toro performed a overhead kick and a crossbody from the top rope. Wilde tags in and he takes on Carlito, JD and Dom. All the three members of LWO performed an highflying move on their opponents before the commercial.
After the commercial, Wilde performed a DDT on Dom. Dragon Lee and JD McDonagh got the tag and Lee is fired up. Lee rakes on JD and Carlito at the time. Lee stacks up all the three members of thr Judgment Day in a corner and tags Wilde to perform Coast to Coast.
LWO performed a suicide dive to take on all the three members of Judgment Day. Wilde goes for the top rope, but Liv distracts to allow Balor to push him and help JD deliver the Dragon Suplex for the win.
The Judgment Day & Terror Twins Brawl
Finn Balor heard what Damian Priest said last week, about taking Balor’s heart. Balor has no heart and will prove to Priest at Bad Blood. Liv talks about Rhea, but Mami interrupted her. Rhea said that she knows Dom and his Dirty secrets. A Shark Cage is brought to the ramp. Ripley claims that Dom got the best seat in the house to see that Liv is not good enough like Rhea.
Damian Priest took JD and Carlito from the back to strike on Balor. Rhea Ripley headbutts Liv and took Dom to lock her in the Shark Cage. However, Liv saves Dom.Inside the ring, Priest tried his best to take all the members of the Judgment Day single handedly, but the numbers game helped Finn perform three Coupe de Grace on Priest.
Chad Gable vs Kofi Kingston
Both played the counter game and showcase their abilities. Kofi sends Gable outside the ring and measures for a suicide dive, but Gable caught him to deliver a German Suplex outside the ring. Chad Gable is in control of the match after the commercial, who performs a chop and a overhead suplex. Gable looks to roll Kofi, and Kofi did the same.
Kofi jumps from the top rope and Gable locks with the Ankle lock. Kofi escapes and performed a SOS, but Gable escapes the ring. Kofi performs a sentkn on all the members of American Made outside the ring. Woods took the Creeds and helped Kofi, but Gable deliver a Bridged Suplex for the win.
Wyatt Sicks
Gunther agrees to give Sami Zayn the title shot
Gunther said that he love every aspect being the World Heavyweight Champio, but one thing he hate being champion is Sami Zayn, who cones here week after week asking for a title shot. Sami Zayn interrupted Gunther yet again. Sami says that if Gunther feels annoying asked him to put an end card by giving a title shot one on one.
If Gunther doesn’t want to, he asks why he is regretting it. Gunther says that Sami is not on his level. Sami asks then how come he defeat Gunther at WrestleMania, if he is not on his level. Sami claims that Gunther fears Sami that he could dethrone him again.
Gunther says that he is afraid, but not for Sami Zayn. Gunther says that losing the IC title to Sami was embarrassing. Gunther after the loss, met his father, who was disappointed by Gunther’s loss, as they rarely had a loss. However Sami’s family is used to watching Sami losing.
Sami said that Gunther ran after his loss and didn’t want to show his face, and thus didn’t ask for a rematch. Sami says that Gunther knows that he is a loser after his father told him. Gunther performed a clothesline on Sami and both brawl inside the ring. Sami performed an exploder suplex and Gunther locks him with the clutch and then the powerbomb. The Ring General finally offers a world title match to Sami.
Awesome Truth vs The Authors of Pain
Truth and Rezar start the match and Truth is fired up. Truth performed a five-knuckle shuffle and looks for AA, but he can’t able to lift the 300 pounder. AOP takes control of Truth with the double team. Truth escapes sending Akam and Rezar down. Miz tags in and attacked Truth (heel turn). AOP delivered their double team powerbomb to win the match.
Last Monster Standing Match- Braun Strowman vs Bronson Reed / Seth Rollins return
They start the match, as soon as they get into the ring. Braun is sent out and Reed tries to run on him through the steps, but Strowman side steps. Reed hit the steps and Braun performed a chokeslam to break the announcement table.
After the match, Reed was in control of Strowman and a number of chairs are set outside the ring. Reed tries to suplex Strowman, but Strowman pushed Reed crashing through the chairs. Reed and Strowman took the fight to the entrance ramp and Reed pushed Strowman to the LED. Reed takes the steel chair but Strowman struck him back with the steel chair. Both stand over the production box and Reed performs a rolling slam crashing through the table.
Reed pushed Strowman to break the barricade and send him to the time keepers area. Reed with a long run broke the security barrier in the audience side. Securities urges to check on front row fans. Reed delivers a Tsunami on Strowman inside the ring and calls out the referee. The referee is busy checking the fans and Reed delivers another Tsunami.
Reed attacked the securities and drags the referee to the ring. He grabs the shirt of Adam Pearce and the securities stop him. Strowman performed a crossbody from the top rope and jumped on Reed and securities outside the ring.
Strowman breaks the count at five and took Reed to the ring. Strowman climbs the top rope and Reed stops him, throwing a chair. Reed performed a vertical super-plex and the ring collapsed. Bodies were laid all over the ring and Reed crawls. Seth Rollins made his return and performed a curb stomp on Reed over the steel steps. This made Strowman stand tall, breaking the count and win the match.
Raw Results
- Xavier Woods defeated Rey Mysterio by pinfall, after ripping Rey’s mask.
- Zoey Stark defeated Lyra Valkyria with the help of Sonya Deville & Shayna Baszler.
- CM Punk & Drew McIntyre sent their last message face to face inside the Hell in a Cell.
- The Judgment Day defeated Latino World Order by pinfall, with an assist from Finn Balor.
- The Judgment Day assaults Terror Twins yet again in the brawl.
- Chad Gable defeated Kofi Kingston by pinfall.
- Gunther offers Sami Zayn the world title shot after a brawl.
- Authors of Pain defeated Awesome Truth. The Miz turned on R-Truth during the match and walked away.
