Jey started off with The Vision, stating that Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed had messed up. Before Jey could say another word, Breakker and Reed appeared. Breakker reminded Big Jim that it was Monday Night Raw, not Friday Night SmackDown. He pointed out that after what their family did to Paul Heyman, it was strange to see them standing in the ring.

As Breakker moved to confront them, Reed stopped him and demanded they acknowledge their “Tribal Thief.” OTC chants erupted as Reed reminded them that Roman wasn’t coming back; they had dealt with him, and now they would deal with Jimmy.

Jimmy fired back, telling Reed to shut his mouth and reminding him who was standing in front of him. Big Jim continued, revealing that he had spoken with GM Adam Pearce, and The Usos would now battle the Bron Brons at Wrestlepalooza.

Jey said they didn’t need to wait and called on the two, but Reed insisted they could wait until Wrestlepalooza. LA Knight appeared, attacking Reed and Breakker, but the numbers game quickly took over as they slammed Knight into the apron. The Usos followed with a suicide dive, taking the two men out.

Knight and Jey brought Reed back into the ring, delivering thunderous blows. Breakker stepped in, but was taken out by a superkick from Jimmy, followed by another superkick to Reed that sent him over the top rope.

Knight and The Usos stood tall as the Bron Brons retreated. Jey and Knight then started arguing over a miscommunication earlier, where Knight had ducked, causing Jey to take the hit from Reed.

Grade: B

Top Moments & Insights:

  • The Usos have natural chemistry, which was on display especially on the mic.
  • The tension continues to rise between LA Knight and Jey Uso as the latter prepares to take on the Bron Brons alongside Big Jim.
  • In a backstage segment, LA Knight was arguing with Adam Pearce when Byron Saxton approached for an interview. Knight complained that Pearce was giving the Usos more attention than him. He told Pearce that if they wanted trouble, they knew where to find him. He then demanded a match against any “Bron”; he’d take LeBron, he’d take Charles Bronson, he just wanted a Bron to stomp the hell out of.

AJ Styles vs El Grande Americano

In the first match of the show, an angry AJ Styles took on El Grande Americano. Before the match, AJ Styles picked up the mic and stated that he was ready to take someone’s head off. He recapped how El Grande Americano had cost him the IC title against Dominik Mysterio.

Styles admitted it might be his fault, saying no one was watching his back, as if someone had orchestrated it to prevent him from winning, to leave him without backup. He continued, stating that someone didn’t want him there, and what he was going to do was beat the hell out of Americano that night, so the person who didn’t want him there could feel a little bit of pain.

In the match, Styles took control early attacking Americano during the entrance, but an interference from Dos Americano halted his offense as Americano took over. Dos Americano tried to interfere again during the final moments, but Dragon Lee’s arrival helped AJ deliver the Styles Clash to pin El Grande Americano.

Winner: AJ Styles

Grade: C+

Top Moments & Insights:

  • Per Joe Tessitore, El Grande Americano was undefeated going into this match (5-0), and AJ Styles handed him his first loss on the Red brand.
  • GM Adam Pearce informed Iyo Sky that Stephanie Vaquer was unable to make it to tonight’s show, so he was cancelling the contract signing. Nikki Bella then entered, asking for an update on Vaquer, while Sky asked if her title match was still on. Pearce replied that he didn’t see why Vaquer couldn’t compete and left. Asuka walked in and interrupted Nikki; the two began to bicker, but eventually agreed to settle their differences in the ring.

Lyra Valkyria vs Raquel Rodriguez

Following the confrontation last week, Lyra Valkyria was eager to take on one member of the Judgment Day and she battled Raquel Rodriguez in the second match of the show. Rodriguez used her size and strength advantage to punish Lyra, targeting her lower back.

Valkyria rallied through but was unable to deliver the Nightwing due to her back injury. A distraction from Roxanne Perez as Lyra was on the top rope, aiding Rodriguez, who delivered the Tahana Bomb to pick up the win.

Winner: Raquel Rodriguez

Grade: B+

Top Moments & Insights:

  • A strong performance by both stars, Rodriguez showed improvement once again, while Lyra proved again that she is one of the best wrestlers in the division.
  • In a backstage segment, Backstage, the War Raiders told Penta they had his back whenever he needed it. Penta then turned to Adam Pearce and demanded a shot at the Intercontinental Championship, declaring he wanted to be a champion. Rusev then appeared, complaining that Pearce wasn’t sticking to the plan and that he should be dominating. Penta got in his face, prompting Pearce to book a first-time-ever match between the two.
  • In another segment, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee were greeted by Jimmy Uso, who asked if they had seen Jey. Big Jim caught up with Jey, asking where he was going. Jey replied that he didn’t care about LA Knight, but Big Jim reminded him that they still needed to deal with The Vision. Jey said he was going to take care of his own business and not get involved. Big Jim pointed out that Jey was sounding more like Roman and less like himself. Jey fired back, saying maybe sounding like him wasn’t working anymore.

Let’s light it up

AJ Lee thanked the crowd and then introduced herself to the fans who weren’t here 10 years ago and had no idea why their millennial parents were excited last Friday. Lee recapped how she retired a decade ago and never thought she’d step back into the ring. She explained that she had gone on a mental health journey, took care of herself, went to therapy, and found a way to turn all the chaos into a superpower.

Lee pleaded with everyone, telling them that if they were going through the same struggles, the fight was worth it and they were worth it. AJ continued, saying she was doing well, but then she saw Raw last week. She mentioned that she wanted to like Becky Lynch, and there was a world where the two could have been friends. However, Lynch crossed a line when she put her hands on AJ’s husband.

Becky Lynch appeared and stated that this had nothing to do with AJ’s husband. Lynch pointed out that AJ was wearing her IC title and said the two were nothing alike, calling herself the “Greatest Female Wrestler,” and referencing the usual line about Sports Illustrated.

Lee replied that she had forgotten she was wearing the title, but then revealed that she even slept in it. Becky asked AJ not to put her “grabby hands” on the title, but Lee then pointed out Becky’s black eye. Lynch immediately covered it with her glasses. AJ then placed the title on the mat and told Becky to come and get it.

The crowd erupted in “CHICKEN” chants as Becky snapped, calling AJ a “Jersey Trashbag Weirdo” who should keep her hands off the title. Lynch then said that she had already bathed in bleach after touching AJ’s husband and asked where Punk was. Becky then introduced AJ to a “proper man,” referring to Seth Rollins.

Rollins calmed Becky down and asked AJ to give Becky back the Intercontinental title so they could leave this “dump” of a city. Lee responded that she had a better idea. AJ offered two options: Becky could step into the ring and take the title, but risk getting another black eye, or she would give it to her if Becky agreed to a tag match, AJ Lee & CM Punk vs. Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins.

Rollins, irritated, stated that AJ had been gone for 10 years and didn’t understand how things worked now. He was the Heavyweight Champion, and this was his show. Lee didn’t run things anymore. Rollins stepped into the ring to take the IC title back for his wife, but AJ stepped in his way.

The Visionary, now irked, stated that the title didn’t belong to him, but just as he said that, CM Punk appeared from behind as Becky tried to warn Rollins. Punk picked up Rollins, who narrowly escaped a GTS. Rollins grabbed the mic and said that if they wanted the match, they would get it, and at Wrestlepalooza, AJ and Punk were both done for. Becky looked puzzled as AJ tossed the IC title, as promised.

Grade: B+

Top Moments & Insights:

  • AJ Lee took the moment to talk about mental health and then managed to hype up the planned match, alongside Becky Lynch, who is doing some of her best work after her return at WrestleMania 41.
  • A video package aired featuring Bayley, where she reflected on the situation with Lyra Valkyria. Bayley acknowledged that she considered herself a good person, but wasn’t sure how Lyra could ever forgive her when she couldn’t forgive herself. Role Model Bayley mocked her softer side, while Hugger Bayley expressed pride in her growth and encouraged Bayley to simply talk to her. Role Model Bayley insisted that they needed to focus on what was best for Bayley, but Hugger Bayley argued that she knew how to make things right. In the end, Bayley concluded, “I’m gonna make it right.”

Penta vs Rusev

In an impromptu match following their heated backstage interaction, Rusev and Penta battled in a singles match. The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) and Grayson Waller made their presence felt during the match and were taken out instantly with a suicide dive from Penta.

The back-and-forth continues inside the ring with Rusev mostly in control. However, in the final moments, Penta went up top, but Woods caused the distraction, allowing Rusev to recover as he caught Penta mid-air with the Machka kick to pick up the win.

Winner: Rusev

Grade: B

Top Moments & Insights:

  • This was the first time the two impressive in-ring performers shared the ring.
  • Jimmy Uso caught up with LA Knight in the locker room, asking if what had happened with Jey earlier was an accident. Knight explained that there was nothing he could do, but Jim insisted that they still needed to focus on handling The Vision tonight. Knight, however, was done with the “we” talk. He reminded Jim that Jey had cost him his last world title match, and if they looked back at his match against Roman Reigns, Jim had cost him there, too. He added that if Uso really wanted to help, the best way was to not help at all.

Nikki Bella vs Asuka

As part of their confrontation earlier, Nikki Bella and Asuka stepped into the ring to settle the score. Asuka controlled the majority of the match, delivering the vicious kicks she is known for. Nikki mounted a comeback but suffered the Empress Impact, followed by the Asuka lock, forcing her to tap out to hand the submission win to Asuka.

In a backstage segment after the match, Nikki Bella ran into the Kabuki Warriors. Asuka taunted Nikki, who responded, saying she was ready for round two. The two bickered before Bella shoved Asuka, who just laughed it off. However, Rhea Ripley appeared and wasn’t laughing.

She asked if there was a problem, to which Asuka replied, “Yes, the two of you.” She claimed to be the top woman in WWE, but Rhea pointed out that Iyo Sky was fighting for the championship. Asuka muttered something in Japanese and walked off.

Winner: Asuka

Grade: C+

Top Moments & Insights:

  • Nikki Bella was looking to make up for her lackluster performance at Clash in Paris against Becky Lynch, but failed in doing so in front of another impressive in-ring performer.
  • The Judgment Day clubhouse was buzzing with excitement over Raquel Rodriguez’s win. Dominik Mysterio came in and explained his absence, stating that he had been preparing for his Worlds Collide match, but Finn Balor responded, saying they were more concerned about El Grande Americano.. Mysterio brushed it off, saying it was a lucha thing and that they wouldn’t understand. When the group stared at him blankly, he snapped, claiming it was their fault for getting banned last week, then stormed off. Roxanne Perez immediately chased after him.

LA Knight vs Bronson Reed

In the main event of the show, LA Knight, as asked, took on Bronson Reed. An early distraction by Bron Breakker helped Reed, who shut down Knight’s early offense. Breakker remained involved, sneaking in a cheap shot. Knight managed to duck an incoming Reed to mount a comeback, dodging another attack from Reed and sending him over the barricade to deliver a leaping attack from the announce desk.

Breakker once again caused a distraction from the apron, and Reed took advantage, delivering the Jagged Edge to pin Knight. After the match, Breakker stepped into the ring and began beating down Knight. Jimmy Uso rushed into the ring to help Knight.

The numbers game took over as Breakker leveled Knight with a vicious spear. Reed and Breakker then tossed Knight outside to continue punishing Jimmy. Jey Uso entered to assist Big Jim, landing a superkick on Breakker, followed by another on Reed. However, Breakker took Jey out with another brutal spear.

Breakker lined up the Usos for a Tsunami from Reed, but Knight rushed in with a steel chair, hammering it down on the Bron Brons, forcing them to retreat. Knight then asked Jey if they were good now and helped Jimmy to his feet. The two embraced, but out of nowhere, Jey took out Knight with a spear of his own. Jimmy looked puzzled as Jey stated, “We’re good now,” in response to Knight from earlier.

Winner: Bronson Reed

Grade: B

Top Moments & Insights:

  • Corey Graves, on the commentary, made a comparison between Reed and the late Bam Bam Bigelow, noting their similar athleticism despite size.
  • Once again, the main event just became secondary to the aftermath, and the busy PLE schedule means weekly shows are in constant rush to build hype for the big shows.
  • Jey’s spear in the final moments will generate a lot of speculation, making Jey one of the most intriguing stars on the roster.
