Ric Flair reveals blood clot diagnosis and cancels appearance
On October 23, 2026, earlier in the day, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair revealed that he had a blood clot in his leg and could not participate in the fan convention that was planned for him. As Flair claimed, his physicians have advised him to limit travel to three to four hours, and this is why he had to miss out on this meeting.
The experienced wrestler also said that he had an appointment concerning his veins. It is worth noting that his withdrawal from participation was dictated by his physicians, and this fact had nothing to do with his previously declared intention to retire from public performances.
Of course, this news worried the audience, especially taking into consideration his age and numerous medical problems he has had to face. Nevertheless, the matter received an additional twist when reports about his fall surfaced.

He had to be kept in a medically induced coma for several days before making a comeback.
His health problems persisted in later years too. It was revealed by Flair that he had had a heart attack during his last wrestling match in July 2022, where he was fighting alongside Andrade El Idolo against Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett. He has also talked about getting treatment for skin cancer.
While he stopped appearing regularly in the ring, the wrestling star kept on appearing in public and stayed involved in the industry. Now, his latest problems with blood clots and falling down have come into the limelight.
Based on the most recent reports, the only positive statement made regarding his condition is from Charlotte. However, there has been no confirmation as yet with regard to other medical information regarding his injuries from the fall. He will certainly hope for a speedy recovery from his new health issues.
