World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and The Bloodline can be key elements in two storylines that are developing in WWE as it prepares for upcoming pay-per-views. As the Undisputed Tribal Chief juggles his screen responsibilities, the appearance of The 946 brings about new options for this group’s evolving story.
The 946 was recently thrust into the limelight when Jaida Parker and Carmelo Hayes became the newest members of the faction, adding yet another layer to the ongoing feud involving The Bloodline. Reigns’ involvement with the developing storyline would become much more important in case WWE decided to reintroduce Women’s World Champion Naomi into the equation.

Roman Reigns expected to maintain reduced WWE schedule after WrestleMania 43
Roman Reigns, apparently, is expected to continue working with a part-time WWE schedule post-WrestleMania 43 instead of retiring partially. As per the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it is expected that Roman will continue following a similar schedule as he has been following all through the years.
In recent years, Roman has followed a part-time schedule by giving precedence to television show appearances and premium live events compared to non-televised house shows. After winning over CM Punk at WrestleMania 42, he has stated that he will be making more appearances in the summer of 2026.
He has made regular appearances on WWE programs and defended his World Heavyweight Championship title against LA Knight at Money in the Bank. However, since October 2023, Roman has not been seen competing in any non-televised WWE live event.
This most recent report comes following statements made where Reigns said that he would take some form of semi-retirement following WrestleMania in order to be with his family. In this backstage report, it would seem that the likelihood of any major changes from his current workload is low.
Additionally, his upcoming schedule may be affected by the plans for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It appears that there may be some form of matchup involving Oba Femi that is currently leading as the most likely for a match at WrestleMania 43.
The 946 angle may be another way for Reigns to be involved on Raw moving forward. With The 946 story growing, it creates new opportunities for The Bloodline, but it has yet to be seen just how Reigns is going to be involved in this rivalry.
Naomi’s potential WWE return under discussion amid The Bloodline-946 feud
Naomi has been absent from WWE television since announcing her pregnancy in August 2025. Her last match took place at SummerSlam on August 3, 2025, when she successfully defended the Women’s World Championship against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley in a triple-threat match. She later relinquished the title.
Her husband, Jimmy Uso, has remained involved in The Bloodline storyline, making speculation about her return particularly interesting. A comeback could provide WWE with another established performer to strengthen the faction’s side of the rivalry, although no creative plans have been confirmed.
The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter mentioned discussions about her possible comeback, although it did not confirm a return date or provide details about WWE’s creative plans.
Speculation about her return has intensified following Jaida Parker’s addition to The 946. With Parker aligned with Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price, fans have wondered whether Naomi could return to support The Bloodline in a potential confrontation with the group.
Naomi’s connection to the faction makes the possibility particularly intriguing. Her husband, Jimmy Uso, remains active on WWE television as part of The Bloodline, creating a natural storyline link if WWE chooses to bring her back into the fold.

Although Roman Reigns showed an intention to limit his presence on WWE, he is confirmed to appear on the October 19 Raw episode.
