Speculations and rumors are among some of the favorite pastimes for WWE fans worldwide. Fans from all over the world enjoy discussing and debating various aspects of the world of pro wrestling. In the aftermath of WrestleMania 41, the rumor mill continues to run in full force.
In today’s edition of the roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media, including Clash In Paris ticket sales, low NBC viewership for SNME, Nick Khan’s speech, The Undertaker running AAA TripleMania, and more.
Clash In Paris ticket sales
According to a recent report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the upcoming Clash In Paris is said to be “far from sold out” at this point.
Clash PLE will take place on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France. WON also notes that the promotion is set to announce a WWE title clash between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre, a US title clash between Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn, and a Women’s Intercontinental title clash between Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella.
These matches are expected to be made official during the upcoming go-home episodes of Raw and SmackDown, leading up to Clash in Paris on August 31. For the Lynch vs. Bella bout, it would mark Bella’s second singles match of the year, following her win over Chelsea Green on the July 14 episode of WWE Raw.
Notably, the United States title clash between Sikoa and Zayn has been announced for the go-home show of SmackDown next week.
Low NBC viewership for SNME

F4WOnline’s Dave Meltzer indicates that NBC’s viewership numbers for Saturday Night’s Main Event have fallen well below expectations, surprising many within the industry who anticipated stronger ratings.
According to Meltzer, one reason Saturday Night’s Main Event is moving exclusively to Peacock is that “the NBC numbers are far lower for the show than anyone expected.”
The recent edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event took place in July and emanated from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The show featured Goldberg’s retirement match, where he suffered defeat against Gunther in the World Heavyweight title match.
Nick Khan’s speech & The Undertaker running AAA TripleMania

The Observer also reports that WWE President Nick Khan reportedly addressed the talent working AAA TripleMania, assuring them that WWE is not there to “take over.”
While some wrestlers have expressed hope that this is true, they’ve also noted that their contracts now include restrictions regarding where they can accept bookings.
The 2025 edition of WWE x AAA Triplemania XXXIII emanated on August 16, 2025, from the Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
They also report that Hall of Famer The Undertaker was helping backstage with running the 2025 edition of TripleMania.
Chris Jericho’s return
As per WON, some within AEW believe Chris Jericho will leave the company once his contract ends later this year, and that he will “start in WWE as a Royal Rumble surprise” in Saudi Arabia.
However, Fightful Select says, many within WWE are unsure whether Chris Jericho’s AEW contract is currently running its course or if it’s been frozen, allowing additional time to be added to its end.
