According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Radio, WrestleMania 42 is expected to feature Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship and CM Punk vs Bron Breakker for the World Heavyweight Title as its planned main events.
The 42nd edition of WrestleMania is set to emanate live from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will take place over two nights, April 18 (Saturday) and April 19 (Sunday), 2026.
Liv Morgan’s return at Survivor Series

According to PWInsider, Liv Morgan was initially expected to be cleared in early 2026, but she pushed herself and managed to make her comeback at Survivor Series.
Morgan made her return during the 2025 edition of Survivor Series last Saturday, where she attacked John Cena, helping Dominik Mysterio pin Cena to capture the Intercontinental title.
PWInsider also added that WWE intentionally played theme music for stars such as Edge, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and others during the Survivor Series setup at Petco Park to throw off someone livestreaming nearby and bait potential “leaks.”
On the subject of Survivor Series 2025, WrestleVotes reported that there was creative disagreement over the entrance order for the men’s War Games match at Survivor Series, with several different options considered and differing views on each.
Paul Heyman’s Survivor Series controversy & update on Bron Breakker

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, there was no actual backlash toward Paul Heyman for brushing past a child at Survivor Series; instead, most of the criticism was directed at security for letting someone get that close to him.
Heyman went viral for shoving a young fan who tried to approach him during Survivor Series post-show. The video of the incident was doing the rounds on social media.
Wrestling Observer Radio reports that Bron Breakker was checked out backstage following the rough Doomsday Device bump during the men’s WarGames match, but he’s doing fine.
Bryan Alvarez noted on X Subscriptions (Twitter) that there are already talks about hosting next year’s Survivor Series in a stadium.
Santos Escobar’s new deal

Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live shared that one of Santos Escobar’s conditions for his new WWE deal was a meeting with Triple H to discuss his creative direction, suggesting he’s expected to return with a push, though the timing of his comeback remains uncertain.
Esobar’s last WWE appearance came during a house show in July, after which his contract with the promotion expired. Escobar re-signed with the promotion and was reportedly set to appear on the October 27 episode of Monday Night Raw. However, Escobar is yet to make his TV return since signing the new contract.
