In today’s edition of the roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media, including plans for Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes, Vince McMahon at John Cena’s final match, Becky Lynch’s claim and more.
Plans for Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed that WWE plans a title match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, though it may not take place at WrestleMania.
The seeds of the match were planted during the Survivor Series: WarGames match, where Roman and Cody teamed up along with CM Punk and The Usos (Jey & Jimmy Uso).
Vince McMahon at John Cena’s final match

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline reported that, despite John Cena’s continued respect for Vince McMahon, it’s “increasingly unlikely,” though “not impossible,” that McMahon will attend Cena’s WWE retirement match next weekend at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
John Cena will take on Gunther in his final WWE match next Saturday. The December 13 edition of SNME is set to emanate live from the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
Becky Lynch’s claim, future for Nikki Bella & Austin Theory

Fightful Select spoke with more than two dozen WWE personnel regarding Becky Lynch’s claim about a main roster star who allegedly blacklisted women he pursued or slept with. None of those interviewed could identify the individual, and it appears the company may be planning to investigate the matter.
Lynch, during an appearance on comedian Bert Kreischer’s YouTube show Something’s Burning, alongside her husband, Seth Rollins, alleged that an unnamed male WWE main roster talent used his position to blacklist female wrestlers based on how they responded to his sexual advances.
“No, [it’s] stay away from the boys. Like certain things — I’m not gonna name names, but there was a guy on the main roster who it was like, ‘Be careful. Be careful because… one, he’ll try to sleep with you. If he sleeps with you, then he’ll blacklist you…
‘… And then if he tries to sleep with you and you don’t sleep with him, he’ll also blacklist you.’ So there was this line that you had to walk this tightrope…”
According to a report from The Observer, there have been discussions about turning Nikki Bella into a heel manager in the future. Bella recently lost against Stephanie Vaquer at Survivor Series 2025, where the Women’s World title hung in the balance.
Additionally, WON has also reported that Paul Heyman aimed to bring Austin Theory into The Vision both to elevate him as a star and to shield Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed from taking losses.
