Speculation and rumors are among the favorite pastimes of WWE fans worldwide. Fans from all over the world enjoy discussing and debating various aspects of the world of pro wrestling.
In today’s edition of the roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media, including Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi, Dominik Mysterio’s in-ring return, Ilja Dragunov’s interference, and much more.
Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi & new NXT faction

According to BodySlam.net, a showdown between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi is currently being considered for WrestleMania 42.
The seeds of this match were planted during the 2026 men’s Royal Rumble match, where the two powerhouses came face-to-face. Femi has recently been called up to the main roster and has made appearances on Raw and SmackDown.
Per Fightful Select, WWE has submitted a trademark for the name “Birthright,” which is believed to represent a new NXT faction. The group is expected to include Lexis King and could also feature other second-generation talents such as Charlie Dempsey, Arianna Grace, and Uriah Connors.

Dominik Mysterio’s in-ring return & David Finlay

Fightful further reports that the promotion is optimistic about Dominik Mysterio making his in-ring return sooner rather than later.
Mysterio has made on-screen appearances in recent weeks after returning from a shoulder injury, but has yet to make his in-ring return.
Sources speaking to Bodyslam indicated that David Finlay’s name has come up in internal WWE discussions. While no one confirmed that the former IWGP Global Champion has officially signed, one source speculated that the company could be laying groundwork for his potential arrival, pointing to the expanded presence of his younger brother, Uriah Connors, on NXT programming in recent weeks.
However, a previous report from SelfMade regained attention after Finlay seemingly bid farewell to NJPW this week, claiming there is a very high chance that he ultimately agrees to a dual deal. According to that report, the arrangement would see Finlay primarily compete for AEW while still returning to Japan when the promotion requires his services.
Ilja Dragunov’s interference

According to WrestleVotes, WWE had initially intended for Ilja Dragunov to get involved in last week’s SmackDown US title bout between Carmelo Hayes and The Miz.
The interference angle, which would have seen Dragunov go after The A-Lister, was reportedly included in the finalized version of the script before being scrapped shortly before the show went live.
When and where will WrestleMania 42 take place?
The 42nd edition of WrestleMania will take place as a two-night event on Saturday, April 18 and 19, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
