According to PWInsider, AJ Styles was present at the WWE Performance Center yesterday, though no reason was given for his visit. Meanwhile, Bryan Alvarez noted via X (Twitter) that WWE is bringing SmackDown roster members in for next Monday’s Raw to take part in the tribute segment for Styles.
Next week’s episode of Raw will feature a special tribute to AJ Styles. The February 23 show, airing live from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, will also serve as the go-home edition ahead of the 2026 Elimination Chamber.
Sol Ruca’s character & Pat McAfee’s movie role

WrestleVotes reports that former NXT Women’s North American & Women’s Speed Champion Sol Ruca is set for a minor character update ahead of her anticipated main roster call-up, including a new entrance theme.
Meanwhile, Fightful Select indicates she is expected to be in Chicago around the time of WWE’s Elimination Chamber event later this month.
According to a report from Bloomberg, TKO CEO Ari Emanuel is aiming to elevate Pat McAfee into a crossover mainstream star, likening the vision to creating the next Sylvester Stallone. McAfee is set to appear in a four-episode storyline in the upcoming season of Tulsa King, the Paramount+ crime drama from Taylor Sheridan that features Sylvester Stallone in the lead role.
Night of Champions PLE, Shawn Michaels documentary & Tryouts

According to BodySlam, the promotion is planning another trip to Saudi Arabia, with Night of Champions PLE currently slated for June 27, 2026. The 2025 edition of the PLE took place on June 28, 2025, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Per WrestleVotes, WWE has finished production on a new documentary centered on Shawn Michaels, with a premiere date expected to be announced in the near future.
Fightful confirmed that the promotion is holding tryouts this week at the Performance Center in Orlando, noting that recent sessions have featured a strong turnout from independent wrestling talent, along with a handful of prospects who have no prior in-ring experience.
The outlet also reported that they have not heard of any signings coming out of last month’s Performance Center tryouts. However, some participants who were informed they would not be offered contracts have begun speaking publicly about their experiences.
Among them is LSU gymnast K.J. Johnson, who told WGNO in New Orleans that WWE recommended she attend wrestling school and encouraged her to return for another tryout later this summer.
