Let’s dive into the latest WWE rumors circulating on social media!
Speculation and rumors are among the favorite pastimes of WWE fans worldwide. Fans from all over the world enjoy discussing and debating various aspects of the world of pro wrestling. In the aftermath of the Crown Jewel 2025, the rumor mill continues to run in full force.
In today’s edition of the roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media, including Seth Rollins’ Raw appearance, Chris Jericho’s status amid rumors, heat on Jade Cargill, and much more.
Seth Rollins’ Raw appearance

Fightful Select reported that Seth Rollins was present backstage at this week’s Raw, though he has been appearing behind the scenes at several shows during his injury hiatus.
Rollins has been absent from WWE programming post-Crown Jewel in October, where he was booted out of the Vision faction by Bron Breakker. He was written off TV due to an injury he sustained during the Crown Jewel title clash against Cody Rhodes at the namesake PLE.
Chris Jericho’s status

According to PW Insider, Jericho was never slated for the first Raw of 2026 and is actually in Los Angeles this week. The report also clarified that Pearce, stating, “break down the walls” during his weekly promos announcing matches and segments for Raw, was not a reference to Jericho but to Stranger Things, having the wall into the Upside Down dimension.
The promotion presented a special Stranger Things–themed edition of Raw, to kick off 2026 from Brooklyn, New York.
“For those who were incorrectly piecing Adam Pearce making a reference to breaking walls down on a social media video over the weekend, given tonight was a Stranger Things crossover-themed episode, that was obviously a smartly played reference to that series having the wall into the Upside Down dimension. Unfortunately, others took hold of it and made it into something beyond what it appeared meant to be. If nothing else, Pearce built some buzz for the show.”
Fightful Select adds that Jericho hasn’t been discussed creatively, and wasn’t included in plans for tonight’s Raw, and unlike other AEW exits, no internal notice has been issued about him leaving the company.
Heat on Jade Cargill

In a recent Q&A, WrestleVotes responded to fan questions about whether WWE was holding Jade Cargill responsible after Michin and B-Fab were pulled from live event matches due to injuries.
Per Fightful, B-Fab suffered a concussion during the WWE Holiday Tour house show in Syracuse, New York, on January 1 and is currently in concussion protocol.
Votes clarified that Cargill is not facing any backlash from fans over the injuries that occurred during house show matches she participated in.
“There’s no heat on Jade. Injuries happen, and it just so happens that the injuries coming out of the house shows both happened with her in the ring. There’s no heat on her — I haven’t heard that there is. She’s in the clear, but that can change if more people start getting hurt under her watch.”
WWE’s Creative team

A recent report from PWInsider Elite offered insight into WWE’s current creative team, which is also featured in the upcoming Season 2 of the Unreal docuseries. Sources revealed that Bruce Prichard and Ed Koskey oversee the day-to-day operations of WWE’s creative division.
Prichard focuses on the overall creative process, while Koskey manages script edits and ensures alignment with the company’s corporate vision.
Ryan Ward reportedly leads the storytelling for both Raw and SmackDown, positioning him as a central figure in weekly programming. On SmackDown, creative direction comes from “Road Dogg” Brian James and John Swikata, while Raw is overseen by Alexandra Williams and Jonathan Baeckstrom.
These leaders are supported by a team of staff writers who develop storylines, segments, and weekly pitches, ensuring continuity and long-term coherence. All content is funneled through Ward and Koskey before reaching WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who has final approval over everything that airs.
Is B-Fab injured?
Per Fightful, B-Fab suffered a concussion during the WWE Holiday Tour house show in Syracuse, New York, on January 1 and is currently in concussion protocol.
