Speculations and rumors are among some of the favorite pastimes for WWE fans worldwide. Fans from all over the world enjoy discussing and debating various aspects of the world of pro wrestling. In the aftermath of WrestleMania 41, the rumor mill continues to run in full force.
In today’s edition of the rumor roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media, including a major update on Jacob Fatu, Goldberg’s retirement match, TNA Slammiversary, and more.
Major update on Jacob Fatu

According to a report from WrestleVotes, the promotion is planning a major push for Fatu that goes beyond his current on-screen role. This initiative follows Fatu’s recent turn to a babyface character, which has helped him connect with a wider audience.
The report adds that WWE is developing exclusive, city-themed merchandise specifically for Jacob Fatu, something which is usually reserved for the company’s top babyfaces, such as John Cena and Cody Rhodes, signaling that the promotion sees Fatu as a potential “franchise name.”
Goldberg’s retirement match

Goldberg’s legendary wrestling career came to a close at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in his adopted hometown of Atlanta.
Facing World Heavyweight Champion Gunther in the main event, the WWE Hall of Famer fell short in a hard-hitting clash that lasted 14 minutes, his longest bout since 2003. However, his farewell speech was cut short due to live broadcast timing restraints, something which the Hall of Famer was not happy about.
Furthermore, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful indicates that WWE’s priority with Goldberg’s retirement match was more about scheduling it on the same weekend as AEW All In Texas rather than giving the Hall of Famer a proper send-off.
AEW All In 2025 took place on July 12, live from the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, USA. The show was scheduled to start at 3 PM ET to avoid clashing with the third edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, though it will still compete directly with NXT’s The Great American Bash 2025.
TNA Slammiversary
WrestleVotes claims that there have been talks about other WWE main roster stars appearing at TNA Slammiversary in addition to AJ Styles.
Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) is gearing up for one of its biggest nights of the year, Slammiversary 2025. The pay-per-view event is set to take place on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, marking the 21st edition of this annual summer tradition.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that Slammiversary will be the biggest attendance of any TNA show in more than 10 years, and they project to be the largest crowd at any TNA Wrestling live event in the U.S. in company history.
Cardi B & Omos
Fightful has also reported that despite WWE not mentioning her lately, Cardi B is still set to appear at SummerSlam 2025. Sources claim nothing has changed, and the company has been planning the event with her involvement in mind for a while.
According to WrestleVotes, WWE creative has been actively discussing the idea of Omos getting a run in AAA. The promotion is looking to position Omos outside the WWE bubble to further establish him as a true special attraction.
