Kendrick Lamar to appear in AEW
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, several AEW wrestlers and staff reportedly have floated the idea of bringing in hip hop icon Kendrick Lamar to the Jacksonville-based promotion, but the prospect is considered unlikely.
This came after Drake’s appearance at the Elimination Chamber 2025 PLE on March at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.
Update on Rey Fenix
According to reports from Fightful Select, Rey Fenix is expected to sign with the Stamford-based promotion as soon as he is set to undergo WWE medical testing.
The reports further add that plans for the former AEW star’s WWE debut are underway, with merchandise ideas already “brainstormed”, and his signing is all but confirmed, “barring unforeseen circumstances”.
New addition to the Hall of Fame & Evolution PLE
According to WrestleVotes Radio, the Natural Disasters tag team, consisting of Earthquake and Typhoon, are reportedly set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2025.
As per reports from PWN and Bodyslam.net, WWE is reportedly planning to revive the all-female Evolution premium live event, tentatively scheduled for Saturday, July 5, at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut.
Saturday Night’s Main Event & NXT Battleground in Tampa
According to WrestleVotes, WWE has scheduled Saturday Night’s Main Event for May 24 at Tampa’s Amalie Arena, followed by NXT Battleground the next day. Notably, the May 25 event coincides with AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view in Arizona.
Michelle McCool replacing Mickie James on WWE LFG
According to Fightful Select, Mickie James will reportedly not return for Season 2 of WWE’s LFG, and The Undertaker’s real-life wife, Michelle McCool, is set to take her place.
The report further added that The Undertaker was willing to continue with the show if his wife, McCool, was involved, leading WWE to make the switch.
