Triple H becomes the first inductee in WWE Hall of Fame 2025

WWE veteran Paul “Triple H” Levesque will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025. Stephanie McMahon, The Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels made the poignant statement during a WWE town hall meeting, surprising Levesque.

According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, the WWE Chief Content Officer was taken entirely by surprise and got extremely distraught upon hearing the announcement. Lightheartedly, he even joked about “wanting to kill” WWE President Nick Khan for organizing the surprise. With this induction, Triple H will join an elite group of two-time Hall of Famers, having already been recognized as part of D-Generation X in 2019.

Triple H’s induction into the Hall of Fame was never an issue of “if,” but rather “when.” He has been a strong force in the ring for decades, winning 14 WWE and World Heavyweight Championships, the 1997 King of the Ring, and the Royal Rumble in 2002 and 2016. His reputation extends beyond his in-ring accomplishments, as he helped shape WWE’s current era as a senior executive.

Since making his WWE debut in 1995, Triple H has grown into one of the company’s most prominent talents. As a founding member of D-Generation X, he helped define the Attitude Era with luminaries like as Shawn Michaels. Following an epic feud with Shawn Michaels, Triple H formed “The Evolution” with Batista, Ric Flair and Randy Orton.

Over the years, he engaged in memorable rivalries with people like Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena, Randy Orton, Mick Foley, and the Undertaker. His tenure as WWE and World Champion cemented his reputation as one of the best wrestlers in history. His most recent encounter was in 2019 during a trip to Japan, when he faced Bobby Roode and Samoa Joe with Shinsuke Nakamura.

For now, only Triple H is inducted, as more names are reported, we will update the article, to provide you with the latest information in the pro wrestling circuit.

Triple H’s last televised bout was against Randy Orton in Saudi Arabia in 2019. Since then, he was forced to retire from in-ring competition in 2022 due to a heart event and surgery. Despite this, he has remained an executive and is currently the WWE’s chief content officer.

It’s impossible to imagine what WWE would be like without Triple H. His conflicts inside the corporation are important to its history. From his feud with Daniel Bryan to his relationship with Shawn Michaels, these moments in WWE history will live on.
