During the recent WrestleVotes Live Q&A on Fightful Select, WWE is hopeful that Steve Austin could show up on next week’s Raw, as the company has been in talks with him about making an appearance on 3:16 day.

“We talked to a couple people over the weekend… there have been conversations that I don’t want to say WWE has invited Steve Austin to Raw next Monday night on 3:16 day in San Antonio, Texas.

But there are people who work for the company that are very hopeful Stone Cold Steve Austin will be on that Monday Night Raw just a week from tonight. You see, you know what I find most interesting? This would be his first Monday Night Raw appearance since before COVID.

We’re hearing, I’ll say, decent shot, he’s on the show next week.”

The March 16 episode of WWE Raw is set to emanate live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are both confirmed for an appearance on the show.

Self-Made Pro reports that Cody Rhodes personally pushed for a match with Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42, because he believed it was a big-time matchup.

Randy Orton secured the Undisputed title shot at WrestleMania after winning the 2026 men’s Elimination Chamber match. On the other hand, Cody Rhodes managed to defeat Drew McIntyre during last week’s SmackDown to regain the Undisputed title, making the clash between Cody and Orton official for Mania.

The outlet reports that LA Knight was transferred from SmackDown to Raw because he was unhappy with his previous role and has been outspoken with WWE’s creative team.

Self Made also reports that a United States Championship triple threat between Giulia, Tiffany Stratton, and Jordynne Grace was originally planned for WrestleMania 42, but the match was scrapped after Grace suffered an injury.

According to  Post Wrestling, a source claims that ESPN independently decided to switch to letter grades for WWE reviews, contrary to earlier reports from the Wrestling Observer, which suggested that WWE influenced the change.

On the other hand, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that El Hijo del Vikingo is currently the only AAA wrestler under a full-time WWE contract, though the company is reportedly working to sign many more, essentially anyone appearing on Television in a meaningful role.

Did Cody Rhodes himself push for the match against Randy Orton?

Yes, per Self-Made Pro, Cody Rhodes personally pushed for a match with Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42, because he believed it was a big-time matchup.

Did WWE influence ESPN to stop grading premium live events?

There are conflicting reports on this issue. According to  Post Wrestling, a source claims that ESPN independently decided to switch to letter grades for WWE reviews. This is contrary to earlier reports from the Wrestling Observer, which suggested that WWE influenced the change.
