During the Fightful Select Q&A show, Sean Ross Sapp was the most recent to dismiss rumors that Adam Copeland, fka Edge, could return to WWE for John Cena’s retirement tour. According to Sapp, there have been “no discussions, and not even talks about potential discussions” regarding his involvement.

Many fans have been highly vocal about Edge making a return to battle Cena for the final time ahead of Cena’s final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.

According to a report from Post Wrestling, a tentative settlement has been reached in the lawsuit filed by musician Wesley Eisold against Cody Runnels (Rhodes), WWE, and merchandise partner Fanatics.

On Tuesday, the parties informed the court that they had agreed to resolve the dispute concerning the “American Nightmare” trademark, pending the completion and signing of a formal settlement agreement.

The report adds that they requested that the case be stayed and administratively closed while the agreement is finalized, with plans to file a joint stipulation to dismiss the case within 90 days. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

WWE Developmental Pay

Discussion around WWE developmental pay has intensified recently following Ridge Holland’s financial struggles that spilled out on social media, and Priscilla Kelly’s (fka Gigi Dolin) interview with Denise Salcedo, in which she claimed some NXT contracts can be as low as $30,000 per year.

However, Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer disputed that figure, stating that “no one is making $30,000” under a confirmed NXT deal. According to him, NXT contracts start at around $75,000 annually, with higher salaries for well-known talent signed from outside the company.

Alvarez clarified that Kelly’s $30,000 figure likely refers to ID contracts, which differ from official TKO salaried deals and only provide a small stipend meant to cover things like appearance upgrades.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Andrade reportedly walked out of The Crash’s 14th Anniversary Show in Tijuana, Mexico. He had been advertised as one of the event’s main attractions and took part in a pre-show meet-and-greet, signing autographs and taking photos with fans.

However, when it was time for his match, Andrade did not compete and is said to have left the venue without giving any explanation. Metlzer pushed back on Meltzer’s claim via a post on X (Twitter).

“I went to that Chinese place called HK!” Andrade wrote.

According to Fightful Select, Tony D’Angelo has not been spotted at the WWE Performance Center recently, and it appears that his absence may be due to the company waiting on new creative plans for him.

Per LV SportsBiz, TKO is set to receive up to $6 million from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority for hosting WrestleMania 42 and its related events, including Raw, SmackDown, NXT Stand & Deliver, the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony, and the WWE World attraction.
