In today’s edition of the roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media. The WWE landscape continues to generate headlines as the company approaches Crown Jewel 2026 amid concerns about its Saudi Arabia plans.

WWE under pressure not to cancel Crown Jewel in Riyadh

Plans for Crown Jewel 2026 from WWE are being scrutinized following reports of travel and security concerns in Saudi Arabia. This will see the premium live event be staged on November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at Riyadh Season Stadium in the King Abdullah Financial District.

The pressure has been prompted by concerns regarding safety following reports of a security incident involving the King Khalid International Airport in the region. This has raised concerns regarding the logistics of getting WWE Superstars, employees, and crew to the Kingdom.

As per a report from Fightful Select, while WWE plans to go ahead with Crown Jewel in Riyadh, there is already another location in the United States lined up in case of any changes.

A recent report from WON suggests that WWE is facing pressure to either not cancel or move its Saudi Arabia show, and Turki Alalshikh’s “hard times reveal true friends” tweet has put even more pressure on TKO to not cancel its shows planned in the country.

The situation presents a difficult decision for the company. Moving the event at short notice could create logistical challenges and affect its commercial arrangements, while proceeding with the original plan requires confidence in the safety of everyone involved.

WWE has already announced champion-versus-champion matches for the event, including Roman Reigns against Sami Zayn and Liv Morgan against Chelsea Green. For now, Riyadh remains the announced venue, and no official relocation has been confirmed.

According to reports, Stephanie Vaquer currently suffers from a legitimate ankle injury sustained in her triple threat match against Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan at Money in the Bank 2026. Nonetheless, the latest news indicates that the ex-Women’s World Champion is not likely to sit out for a prolonged period of time.

Vaquer took part in the title match at Money in the Bank, where Liv Morgan won back her Women’s World Championship, taking advantage of the situation with Vaquer and Lynch. Following the loss, the well-being of Vaquer became a concern.

As of the October 12 episode of Monday Night Raw, Vaquer came out on crutches after the scene where she was getting medical attention backstage. Vaquer confirmed that she did have an ankle problem but also clarified that it should not take her long to recover from it. It was also the day of the confrontation with Lynch.

According to Dave Meltzer’s report, Vaquer’s ankle injury was real and not a mere storyline gimmick. The update will be encouraging for WWE, considering Vaquer’s importance to the women’s division and the momentum she had built before losing her championship. Her confrontation with Lynch also leaves the door open for a future match once she is medically cleared.

The court case that arose against the former WWE chairman, Vince McMahon, because of a car crash that occurred in July 2025 has been concluded after McMahon fulfilled the terms of the pre-trial probation program.

This case followed the reckless driving charges that were levied against McMahon after he was involved in a car crash that led to the destruction of three cars in Connecticut. This case came to light after the video of the car crash was made public by the relevant authorities.

As per the information provided in the article by PWInsider, McMahon served his one-year probation term, and the case has been officially concluded. In the pre-trial program, McMahon had to fulfill two terms, which were making a $1,000 donation to charity and driving with proper licensing and insurance. The record for the case has been sealed in the Connecticut court.

McMahon was involved in some legal battles in 2024, but he stepped down as the chairman of WWE. The case of the car crash does not in any way affect these cases that have nothing to do with this case.
