Solo Sikoa’s WWE promo sparks green screen speculation

The October 26 episode of Raw featured Solo Sikoa accepting Royce Keys’ challenge for a match on the following week’s show. However, the segment attracted attention for an unexpected reason, as fans questioned whether the creative team had used a green screen to place Roman Reigns and The Usos in the background.

The promo showed Sikoa delivering his message in the foreground while Reigns and Jimmy and Jey Uso stood behind him. Some viewers felt the lighting, framing, and overall appearance looked unnatural, leading to accusations that the scene had been digitally created.

The discussion gained traction on social media, with fans questioning why WWE would use such an effect for a segment involving prominent members of The Bloodline.

However, Corey Brennan pushed back against the speculation, explaining that the segment was filmed during the previous week’s Raw when Reigns was present at the show. Brennan suggested that the unusual appearance could be down to the camera framing and lens rather than green-screen technology.

Crown Jewel plans reportedly depend on Saudi Arabia’s boxing event

There is uncertainty surrounding the plan for Crown Jewel 2026 amidst their November 7 Premium Live Event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Even with safety issues being raised, along with suggestions for relocation of the event, the plan at present is to host Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

According to information given out on Wrestling Observer Radio, whether or not the company will go ahead with the early November PLE in Saudi Arabia might be influenced by how the upcoming boxing match in Saudi Arabia turns out. According to the information, the firm will go ahead and host the PLE in Saudi Arabia only if nothing happens in the boxing match. The fight between Canelo Alvarez and Christian Mbilli is scheduled for October 31.

Bruce Prichard expected to leave his WWE executive role after WrestleMania 43

There might be some major changes looming in the career of the longtime executive, Bruce Prichard. According to PWInsider, Bruce Prichard plans to retire from his current job as Executive Director of Creative Writing and Talent at WrestleMania 43 Season in 2027.

Bruce Prichard has been with the Stamford-based promotion since 1987, first appearing on their television shows as Brother Love before taking on backstage duties. Over time, he became one of Vince McMahon’s creative confidantes and returned to the company in 2019, after working for some time elsewhere in the world of wrestling and creating his Something to Wrestle With podcast.

But a follow-up story by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful on October 28 brings up a crucial detail. According to Sean Ross Sapp, Bruce Prichard will need major neck surgery in the coming days, and his retirement plan might be to take up remote duties following his surgery.

Kelani Jordan reportedly planned for WWE main roster move

Kelani Jordan could be on her way to a permanent main roster spot once her current NXT Women’s Championship run comes to an end. Her appearance on Raw in September was reportedly intended to introduce her to a wider television audience ahead of that potential transition.

The former gymnast captured the NXT Women’s Championship by defeating Kendal Grey at NXT Heatwave on August 30. Her athleticism and improvement during her time in NXT have made her a notable prospect for the main roster.

Jordan made her Raw in-ring debut on September 14 in a Money in the Bank qualifying match against Lola Vice and Raquel Rodriguez. Although she did not win the contest, the appearance gave WWE viewers outside the NXT audience an opportunity to see the star compete on the red brand.

Vince Russo reportedly held talks about a WWE return & faction on Raw

Vince Russo, who used to be a writer at WWE, has become the subject of a surprising rumor about WWE this time, after information surfaced that there were talks of his possible return to the company earlier this year. It was stated in a column written by wrestling enthusiast Conrad Thompson for Uncrowned, who claimed that he learned about discussions of Russo’s potential return to WWE’s creative team after 27 years.

Russo was a very important person for the creative team in the late 1990s, when he worked along with Vince McMahon at the most successful era for WWE – the Attitude Era. After that, Russo left for WCW, where he continued to play an important role in the promotion and then for other companies, as well as worked on some wrestling commentary projects.

According to Fightful, some sources from WWE headquarters claimed that there were talks between the company’s President Nick Khan and Vince Russo, but these sources didn’t seem sure how seriously these talks were taken.

Additionally, according to Self Made, the promotion is planning to form an on-screen faction on the Red brand consisting of Rusev, Ethan Page, and Big Cass in the near future.

When will John Cena return to Raw?

John Cena is scheduled to appear on the November 2, 2026, episode of Raw in Brooklyn, New York. He is expected to provide further details about the John Cena Classic.

Has WWE confirmed Bruce Prichard’s retirement?

No. Reports indicate that Prichard may step away from his executive director role after WrestleMania 43, but a follow-up report suggests he could continue working remotely after neck surgery. WWE has not officially confirmed his retirement or future position.
