Let’s discuss the latest rumors making the rounds among fans on social media!
Speculation and rumors are among the favorite pastimes of WWE fans worldwide. Fans from all over the world enjoy discussing and debating various aspects of the world of pro wrestling. In the aftermath of the Clash in Paris, the rumor mill continues to run in full force.
In today’s edition of the roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media, including Andrade’s AEW return after recent release, WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Otis’ return, and more
Andrade’s AEW return

According to Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer, Andrade was able to come back to AEW quickly after leaving WWE because there wasn’t a non-compete clause involved; he was fired, so that restriction didn’t apply.
Per Meltzer, people in AEW who are familiar with Andrade told him, “He’ll always think of Tony Khan as secondary to WWE, no matter what…we’re asking for trouble.”
Per PW Insider, he was released due to multiple wellness violations over the past year. WWE opted to let him go rather than pay him for another 90 days to prevent him from working elsewhere, so no non-compete clause was included.
The former WWE star made his return during the recent episode of AEW Dynamite, attacking Kenny Omega. He aligned himself with the ever-growing Don Callis Family.
WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas

According to Dave Meltzer, hotel prices are expected to spike during the week of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas because “everyone knows there is no WrestleMania in 2027” in the U.S., leading to much higher demand for 2026, which he says will be “way up.”
The 42nd edition of WrestleMania will emanate live from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will take place over two nights, April 18 (Saturday) and April 19 (Sunday), 2026.
Otis’ return, WWE LFG & more
As per a PW Insider Elite report, Otis was seen at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando this week. This might indicate he’s nearing a full return following his brief appearance for AAA back in August.
Otis was recently removed from the internal roster due to injury. His last WWE appearance was on the May 5th, 2025, episode of Monday Night Raw.
According to PW Insider’s Mike Johnson, filming for the third season of WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats) is set to begin “very soon.”
According to Fightful Select, two key reasons behind NJPW’s (New Japan Pro-Wrestling) reduced touring schedule in the U.S. this year are falling ticket sales and some NJPW wrestlers being unwilling to make the trip.
Did Andrade’s WWE contract have a non-compete clause?
No, Andrade’s contract did not have any non-compete clause. Per PW Insider, he was released due to multiple wellness violations over the past year. WWE opted to let him go rather than pay him for another 90 days to prevent him from working elsewhere, so no non-compete clause was included.
When and where will WrestleMania 42 take place?
The 42nd edition of WrestleMania will emanate live from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will take place over two nights, April 18 (Saturday) and April 19 (Sunday), 2026.
