According to a report from WrestleVotes, Damian Priest’s character change and eventual turn on R-Truth were influenced by Rhea Ripley’s injury. WWE initially planned to keep the Terror Twins together, but the extended length of her absence forced the company to alter its creative direction.
Priest turned on his tag partner R-Truth last month after they faced The War Raiders in a tag team match for the AAA Tag Team Championship, but ultimately lost. Priest has now debuted a new moniker called ‘El Malo.’
On the other hand, Ripley is out of action due to a torn meniscus in her right knee. Her last televised appearance came after Clash in Italy in June, where she revealed the injury.
WrestleMania 43 & Elimination Chamber dates

During a recent Q&A, WrestleVotes was asked if WWE’s Elimination Chamber event next year would return to the United States following a run of international premium live events. WrestleVotes stated that the information they have received points toward the event being held in the U.S.
“I have heard a rumor that, yes, it will be in the domestic United States. That’s the best I got right now.”
On the other hand, Brandon Thurston & John Pollock of Wrestlenomics reported on Pollock & Thurston that the promotion currently has WrestleMania 43 internally scheduled for April 10 and 11, 2027.
They also noted that, according to those involved in planning the Saudi Arabia events, WWE is expected to announce the WrestleMania 43 dates by the time Crown Jewel takes place.
Keanu Carver released after stalking allegations & Jimmy Hart’s MITB promotions
Kevin Robertson, better known by WWE fans as Keanu Carver, made headlines following reports of an order of protection filed by a fellow NXT talent.
Carver is currently subject to an order of protection prohibiting him from contacting or approaching the NXT talent who filed a petition against him in a Florida court earlier this month. Although the identity of the complainint was intended to remain confidential due to safety concerns, it was soon disclosed on social media.
The petitioner was identified as Arianna Grace, also known as Bianca Carelli. Under the order, Robertson is prohibited from coming within 500 feet of Carelli or contacting her. The order remains in effect until October 20, when another court hearing is scheduled. At the time of writing, Robertson has not faced any criminal charges.
Now PWInsider reports that Carver has been removed from WWE’s internal roster and and is no longer with the company.
On the other hand, the outlet also reports that Jimmy Hart is set to be brought in for promotional duties surrounding Money in the Bank.
