WRKD Wrestling reported yesterday that Royce Keys has received significant backstage praise for seamlessly stepping into a major main-event role.
Plans are already being discussed to keep featuring 946, with some within WWE believing they would be an ideal fit for WarGames. Cory Hays of False Finish also added that the plans for the faction are to be involved in WarGames right now.
False Finish has now followed up on WRKD’s report, noting that a source informed them that several WWE higher-ups regarded Royce Keys as a potential future World Champion.

Raw & SmackDown taping
According to PWInsider Elite, the Stamford-based promotion is planning to tape both Raw and SmackDown in Brooklyn on November 2 to accommodate travel plans for Crown Jewel.
Crown Jewel 2026 will take place on Saturday, November 7, at Riyadh Season Stadium in the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Samantha Irvin’s status
Samantha Irvin announced her departure from WWE on October 21, 2024. One year later, she revealed that she was still bound by another year of a non-compete clause, and while Irvin had continued focusing on her music career since her exit, the clause had prevented her from joining another promotion.
Dave Meltzer, in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, has reported that Irvin’s lengthy two-year non-compete clause will end next month. He also noted that, unlike Renee Paquette’s move to AEW, which was known before her contractual restrictions expired, there is currently no indication that Irvin has committed to another promotion.

Plans for Jordynne Grace & Ivy Nile
According to False Finish, there have been creative discussions regarding a potential team of Ivy Nile and Jordynne Grace. Both Grace and Nile have been absent from WWE television for a long time.
Additionally, Fightful Select reported that WWE had pitched teaming Ivy Nile and Jordynne Grace together earlier this year. Vignettes for the pairing were filmed over the summer with plans for them to begin airing this month.
The report noted that neither Nile nor Grace are dealing with an injury and that they are simply waiting for creative plans to move forward. Nile’s contract is set to expire in October, while Grace remains under contract for several more years.
