WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event returns this weekend for the third time in 2026. The 45th edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event will take place on July 18 at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

The upcoming event marks the first SNME to be held at Madison Square Garden since the 35th edition of the show in August 2007. Multiple top WWE names, including Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Paige and Danhausen, among others, are confirmed for the show.

New York Knicks’ Jalen Brunson will also be in attendance at MSG. The show will air on Peacock in the United States and on YouTube in most international markets, while Indian fans can tune into Sony Liv to watch the show live.

Matches & segments for Saturday Night’s Main Event (July 18, 2026)

• Danhausen vs JD McDonagh – No disqualification match
• Brie Bella & Paige (c) vs Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) – WWE Women’s Tag Team titles match
• CM Punk & Cody Rhodes vs Gunther & Sami Zayn – Tag Team match (If Sami & Gunther win, they will be added to the Undisputed title match at SummerSlam)
• Bayley vs Lyra Valkyria
• WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns & New York Knicks’ Jalen Brunson to appear

Danhausen vs JD McDonagh – No disqualification match

Danhausen is all set to take on Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh in singles action at MSG. WWE on the July 13 edition of Raw announced that the clash between the two will be in a no-disqualification match.

Danhausen has been feuding with the Judgment Day, who have been asking Danhausen to return the money they gave him to curse Oba Femi. Danhausen even cursed Liv Morgan at Night of Champions before the 2026 Queen of the Ring tournament finals. The Judgment Day retaliated by destroying his lab and stealing the custom New York Knicks jersey.

Brie Bella & Paige (c) vs Fatal Influence – WWE Women’s Tag Team titles match

Brie Bella and Paige will defend the fifth time WWE Women’s Tag Team titles against Fatal Influence’s Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley.

The match was announced after Reid managed to defeat Brie in a singles encounter, courtesy of a ringside beatdown of Paige by the rest of the faction that distracted Bella. The faction has been eyeing Championship gold since their arrival on SmackDown and is now looking to topple the two legends at MSG.

CM Punk & Cody Rhodes vs Gunther & Sami Zayn – Tag Team match

During the July 10 edition of SmackDown, Gunther gave General Manager Nick Aldis an ultimatum to grant him an Undisputed title match before the show ended.

In the closing moments, Gunther asked Aldis to add him to the title match between CM Punk and Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam, but instead Aldis announced a tag team match where Gunther will team up with Sami Zayn to take on the team of CM Punk and Cody Rhodes at SNME. Tensions will be at the epicenter of the match as both teams have their own issues with each other.

Acting SmackDown GM Adam Pearce, during the go-home show of the Blue brand, revealed that if Gunther and Zayn win the tag team match, they will be added to the Undisputed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam, making it a fatal four-way match.

Bayley vs Lyra Valkyria

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria met face-to-face for the first time on the SNME go-home show of Raw since Lyra turned on Bayley after losing the Women’s Tag Team title match against the reigning Champions, ending their tag team runs.

The segment ended in a match announcement for SNME and a brawl where Valkyria stood tall, taking down Bayley before their encounter in New York.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns & New York Knicks’ Jalen Brunson to appear

World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and New York Knicks’ Jalen Brunson are confirmed for an appearance at SNME this weekend.

Reigns extended the invitation via social media, and Brunson accepted. The World Heavyweight Champion will now have the reigning NBA champion New York Knicks star in his corner at The Mecca, and fans are waiting to see what’s in store for them as the two megastars appear.
