WWE SmackDown (July 12, 2024): Match card, news, rumors, predictions, timings, telecast details

(Courtesy : WWE)
SmackDown will now look to build up WWE’s upcoming event SummerSlam.
WWE successfully went through WWE Money in the Bank in Scotiabank Arena, Ontario Canada. We saw Drew McIntyre winning the WWE Money in the Bank briefcase just to add his name to one of the few to have a failed cash-in.
We saw CM Punk screwing Drew McIntyre, and he addressed the same on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW. Tiffany Stratton is our Miss Money in the Bank which guarantees her a shot at the WWE Championship. Bayley should now beware of Stratton who is known for her “Tiffy Time”.
With many developments already happening the July 12, 2024 episode of SmackDown brings you amazing matches and storylines for fans to stay close to their seats. With Friday just one day away, here is a brief preview of what can happen on this week’s WWE SmackDown.
WWE SmackDown Match Card & Preview (July 12, 2024)
Here is the early lineup for WWE SmackDown:
- Nia Jax vs Michin
- Angel Garza & Humberto Carillo vs Apollo Crews & Baron Corbin
- Solo Sikoa’s rise continues
- Tiffany Stratton to appear
Nia Jax vs Michin
Michin and Nia Jax have been battling in recent weeks, and they have gotten into several backstage brawls. On the July 5 edition of WWE SmackDown, Jax assaulted WWE Women’s Champion Bayley following her bout against Piper Niven. Michin raced in to make the save, and WWE revealed that she will meet Jax on July 12. However, with Nia Jax all set to dethrone Bayley at SummerSlam, it shouldn’t come as a surprise if Nia Jax scoops up the win in style.
Angel Garza & Humberto Carillo vs Apollo Crews & Baron Corbin
Apollo Crews has been embroiled in a fierce battle with Legado del Fantasma recently, and he has partnered with Baron Corbin to level the odds. WWE announced that Crews and Corbin will fight Berto and Angel of Legado del Fantasma on July 12. Crews have lost momentum, but it appears that WWE is pairing him with Corbin to reintroduce him into the spotlight by providing fans with a compelling storyline.
Solo Sikoa’s rise continues
Solo Sikoa would be one of the headliner appearances on WWE SmackDown this week. After destroying Paul Heyman, Sikoa continued his reign of terror when he pinned WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes in the main event of WWE Money in the Bank 2024, This could be the segment where Solo Sikoa officially announces himself as the number one contender for Cody Rhodes to face at WWE SummerSlam 2024.
Tiffany Stratton to appear
Miss Money in the Bank will be one of the main attractions WWE will have to offer this week. Stratton after a hard-earned fight put Chelsea Green through the table to win the guaranteed title opportunity. On SmackDown Stratton will make her appearance to address her win and we might potentially see who she be feuding with as well for the coming time.
