While the drama in the women’s tag team division has only been growing over the past few weeks, fans witnessed more of the same on tonight’s show.
Ilja Dragunov teamed up with Carmelo Hayes to take on DIY (Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) in a tag team match.
The December 19 episode served as the fallout show for the December 13 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, where John Cena bid farewell to the WWE Universe. Multiple big names, including Cody Rhodes, Tiffany Stratton, Randy Orton, Jade Cargill, and Jacob Fatu, were advertised for the show.

WWE has started pre-taping matches and segments to give talents time-off before their big annual winter holiday tour. On Monday in Hershey, Pennsylvania, WWE pre-taped many matches & segments, likely parts of the November 26 show of SmackDown, and will likely pre-tape the upcoming November 22 show of Raw this Friday in Michigan.
