The second and final PLE on the road to WrestleMania is approaching as WWE is arriving in Toronto to first deliver the Elimination Chamber go-home show of Friday Night SmackDown. The 02/28 episode of the Blue brand is set to emanate from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Multiple top stars including Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, LA Knight, and WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton are set for an appearance on the show. Canada’s own Trish Stratus and Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green will also appear on the show.

Chelsea Green vs a mystery opponent

During last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis in a backstage segment announced that Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green will be in action next week in her home country. However, her opponent has been kept a mystery by Aldis.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs LA Knight – United States Championship match

After defeating The Miz, LA Knight claimed the number one contender spot for the United States title and is now set to battle the champion Shinsuke Nakamura on the go-home show of the Blue brand. While the two stars met earlier in a rematch from Survivor Series 2024 PLE, the match ended in DQ due to outside interference.

The two stars will meet once again as Knight is looking to regain the US title. Nakamura also announced his intentions of battering the former champion as he attacked Knight on last week’s episode of SmackDown where Knight teamed up with R-Truth to battle the team of Carmelo Hayes and The Miz.
