WWE SmackDown confirmed match card & segments
- Motor City Machine Guns & Los Garza vs DIY & Pretty Deadly
- Chelsea Green (c) vs Michin – Women’s United States Championship
- Naomi vs Liv Morgan
- Jimmy Uso vs Carmelo Hayes
Motor City Machine Guns & Los Garza vs DIY & Pretty Deadly
An eight-man tag match has been set for the go-home show where the team of Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) and Los Garzas (Angel & Berto) will battle the Tag Champions DIY (Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) and Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince).
The match was set up following Motor City Machine Guns’ victory over Pretty Deadly which granted them a tag title shot at the Royal Rumble PLE in a two out of three falls match.
Chelsea Green (c) vs Michin – Women’s United States Championship
Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green is set to defend her title against Michin in the 01/31 show. This will be a rematch from their second meeting in the 01/10 show where Green retained her title.
The match was set after Michin teamed up with B-Fab to defeat Green and Niven in a tag match on last week’s show.
Naomi vs Liv Morgan
One-half of Women’s Tag Team Champion Naomi has been a bit busy this week as she has already competed on Raw and NXT this week and is now set to compete in the go-home show of SmackDown. Naomi and Bianca Belair defeated the team of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on this week’s Raw.
The tag champions then followed it up with a title defense against Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson in the 01/28 episode of WWE NXT. Naomi is now set to lock horns with Liv Morgan in a singles match on the 01/31 show of the Blue brand.
Jimmy Uso vs Carmelo Hayes
Carmelo Hayes was set to face Jimmy Uso on last week’s show but a brawl between Jimmy and Kevin Owens led to a match between the two in the main event of the last week’s show.
This irked Hayes who confronted Jimmy before the main event match, but the final push for Hayes was Jimmy making fun of him which led to Hayes attacking Jimmy during his entrance. The two stars are now set to face each other in the go-home show for Royal Rumble.
