WWE SmackDown heads to PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this Friday, March 27, 2026, for what could be the most explosive go-home show of the WrestleMania 42 season. With the grandest stage of them all just three weeks away at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, every single segment this Friday carries title-match-level stakes.
Last week’s SmackDown in Raleigh, North Carolina, delivered one of the most talked-about nights of the year. Randy Orton fully embraced his Viper persona, declared he wants to be a 15-time world champion, and then lured Matt Cardona into a fake apology before attacking him viciously with an RKO and a steel chair stomp.
Damian Priest and R-Truth became the new WWE Tag Team Champions, with the Wyatt Sicks playing a key role in the finish. Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu brawled across the entire show, ultimately falling off an elevated structure outside the arena to close the night. Kit Wilson attacked Jelly Roll after their confrontation, and Jelly Roll was granted his request for a singles match the following week.
Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, and Chelsea Green are among the featured superstars confirmed for Pittsburgh.
Match card & segments announced for WWE SmackDown (March 27, 2026)
- Giulia vs Tiffany Stratton
- Kit Wilson vs Jelly Roll
- Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair vs The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie Bella) – Tag Team Match
- Randy Orton to “apologise” to Cody Rhodes
- Cody Rhodes listen among featured superstars
- Nick Aldis to provide an update on Jacob Fatu & Drew McIntyre
Giulia battles Tiffany Stratton in a non-title match

Following a strong run of momentum on SmackDown, Women’s US Champion Giulia will be in action this Friday.
The Japanese star will face Tiffany Stratton in a non-title match this Friday in Pittsburgh. Stratton has been one of the most dominant women on the brand, and this promises to be a hard-hitting, high-stakes clash heading into WrestleMania 42.
The Women’s US Title picture just got a lot more interesting, and all eyes will be on PPG Paints Arena to see if “Tiffy Time” can pin the reigning Champion.
Kit Wilson vs Jelly Roll is officially on for this week
After Wilson blindsided Jelly Roll with a cowardly attack this past Friday, the match is now set. Wilson had been antagonising the Grammy-winning artist throughout the night before eventually jumping him without warning, leaving the WWE Universe furious.
This week, Jelly Roll gets his chance to settle the score inside the ring on WWE SmackDown, and the crowd in Pittsburgh will be firmly behind him.
Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair take on The Bella Twins

After The Bella Twins made their shocking return and inserted themselves into the Women’s Tag Team title picture on last SmackDown, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will now square off against Nikki and Brie Bella this week.
The match is set to be a high-stakes showdown with WrestleMania 42 just around the corner, and both teams will be looking to prove they deserve to be the champions.
Nick Aldis to provide an update on Jacob Fatu & Drew McIntyre
After brawling throughout last week’s show, Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu crashed down off a high steel structure during the closing moments of the show. GM Nick Aldis will provide an update on the two stars on this week’s SmackDown.
