MITB’s go-home show ended chaotically in Lafayette.
WWE SmackDown before Money in the Bank 2026 concluded at the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana. The Money in the Bank 2026 go-home edition saw appearances from all twelve participants in the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank.
The ongoing storylines saw Gunther battle Danhausen, and Finn Balor came to aid the very nice, very evil star, while an attack by Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab forced Charlotte Flair out of the scheduled tag team match against the Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid).
Alexa Bliss stepped in for her tag partner, teaming up with Tatum Paxley to defeat the Fatal Influence and become the new Women’s Tag Team Champions. You can check our results for this week’s SmackDown to discover everything that transpired on the show.

The next week’s edition of WWE SmackDown will emanate from Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, Gunther, and Trick Williams are listed as featured superstars for the show.
Following Cody Rhodes’ scathing promo this week, he demanded that GM Nick Aldis arrange a face-to-face meeting with Randy Orton. Aldis has now confirmed that Rhodes and Orton will meet next week.
On the other hand, as announced, Paige and Nikki Bella will once again collide inside the squared circle. Bella has her sights on the World title, but Paige just wants to lash out punishment in the rematch.
Also announced for the show is R-Truth taking on his former tag partner, Damian Priest, who turned on Truth last month in Mexico City and this week attacked Fraxiom backstage when Truth arrived to lay out his former tag partner.
