The Crown Jewel go-home show of SmackDown aired from the RAC Arena!

The October 10 episode of Friday Night SmackDown aired live from the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. The episode served as the go-home show for the upcoming Crown Jewel PLE and had a special start time for international audiences.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes previewed his upcoming Crown Jewel title clash against the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. On the other hand, a returning Shinsuke Nakamura answered Sami Zayn’s US title open challenge.

However, the match ended in disqualification as Solo Sikoa’s MFT (Tama Tonga, Talla Tonga, JC Mateo & Tonga Loa) attacked Zayn and Nakamura. Furthermore, Tiffany Stratton and Stephanie Vaquer defeated Giulia and Kiana James in the tag team clash and had a brief face-off afterwards.

Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis) defeated The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) to retain the WWE Tag Team titles and were confronted by Solo Sikoa and his MFT, signalling a potential feud between the two factions.

In the main event of the show, Aleister Black defeated Damian Priest in a last man standing match, with a late help from Zelina Vega.

Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu will settle their score next week

During the October 6 show, both Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu continued brawling on two different occasions, forcing General Manager Nick Aldis to announce a match between the two in Fatu’s backyard for next week. The two heavyweights will finally settle their score inside the ring.

Elsewhere, in a backstage segment between NXT’s Sol Ruca and Zaria and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss led to a title match was made, though a date was not mentioned.

The October 17 episode of WWE SmackDown is set to air live from the Sap Center in San Jose, California. The episode will serve as the fallout show from Crown Jewel, which will conclude on October 11 in Perth, Australia.
