WWE Women’s Championship Match: Nia Jax (c) vs Naomi
While we wait for the first women’s US Champion to be crowned, WWE may announce a new Women’s Champion on this week’s SmackDown, as the belt will be on the line in a singles match between defending champion Nia Jax and Naomi.
Last week on SmackDown, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill beat WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton in a non-title tag team match when Naomi interfered. Candice LeRae initially interrupted the bout to assist Nia, but Naomi removed her to cause a diversion for the heels. Belair used the KOD finishing on Tiffany to secure the pin-fall victory.
WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Motor City Machine Guns (c) vs The Street Profits
The WWE Tag Team Champions Motor City Machine Guns are seeking to run the gauntlet on SmackDown, defending their championship this week against The Street Profits.
The Street Profits and Motor City Machine Guns have never faced each other in a two-on-two match, but Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley have gone unbeaten since joining SmackDown.
Roman Reigns to appear
Last week, we saw the reunion of the OG Bloodline, so, one thing is confirmed Roman Reigns won’t be coming alone this week, he has got Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso having his back. So, this week we can expect WWE will keep on building towards the upcoming WWE PLE Survivor Series: War Games.
Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens are advertised for this show
After what Kevin Owens did last week, WWE universe can expect him to be punished, but Cody Rhodes without an opponent and him being advertised on the same show points to one thing. Cody Rhodes is going to go after Kevin Owens who injured his friend. But, this is all assumption for now, let’s see what happens on Friday Night SmackDown this week.
