Some big matches & segments are announced for 8/9 episode of SmackDown
The August 16, 2024 episode of WWE SmackDown will be aired live from the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida, United States. The show is being held two weeks before the upcoming Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event.
WWE has booked some of the interesting segments and matches for the show. Here is a detailed preview, prediction, news, timings and telecast details of this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

- Naomi vs Blair Davenport
- Grayson Waller vs Kevin Owens
- Roman Reigns to appear
Nia Jax WWE Women’s Championship Celebration
The new WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax will be making her first appearance this Friday for the championship Celebration. Tiffany Stratton has been hosting the celebration and the planning was made last week. As per speculations, Jax will be confronted by her first challenger.
Naomi vs Blair Davenport
Naomi & Blair Davenport have been having their rivalry for a long time since Davenport’s first appearance in the blue brand. As per speculations, Naomi will win the match, however, Davenport could attack her after the match. However, Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill will make the save.
Grayson Waller vs Kevin Owens
Last week on SmackDown, Austin Theory voluntarily involved Grayson Waller in a match against Kevin Owens. Waller will go one-on-one against Owens in a singles match. As per speculations, Owens will win the match, despite the interference from Austin Theory.
Roman Reigns to appear
WWE has officially announced that Roman Reigns will be featured in this week’s episode of SmackDown. Roman is likely to address his future and why he made his return and attacked Solo Sikoa & The New Bloodline. He could also be involved in a brawl with The Bloodline again.

- In the United States, Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico the show can be watched live at 8 PM ET, 7 PM CT & 4 PM ET every Friday on Fox.
- In Canada, SmackDown will be live every Friday Live at 8 PM ET on Sportsnet 360, Fox & OLN.
- In the United Kingdom & Ireland, the show will be live at 1 AM every Saturday on TNT Sports 1.
- In India SmackDown will be live at 5.30 AM IST every Saturday across Sony Sports Network (Sony Liv, Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 1 HD, Sony Ten 3, Sony Ten 4, Sony Ten 4 HD).
- In Saudi Arabia, the show will be live at 1 PM EDT every Saturday on Shahid.
- In Australia, the show will be live at 1 AM AEST every Saturday on Fox8
- In France, the show will be live at 1 AM every Saturday on the WWE Network.
