The Bloodline & Drew McIntyre storyline builds
The Bloodline is set to appear on this week’s episode of the Blue brand. Solo Sikoa and the company will cut a promo asserting their dominance. Sikoa and company have launched a terrorizing campaign following their humiliating defeat in the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.
The faction has targeted anyone who dared to question the authority of Sikoa. The promotion will build the storyline of the Bloodline with Drew McIntyre on this week’s show. McIntyre has recently returned earlier this month to launch a devastating campaign of taking down every member of the OG Bloodline faction.
McIntyre recently defeated Sami Zayn at Saturday Night’s Main Event and made it clear that he will not rest until he takes down every member of the OG faction.
The Bloodline vs LA Knight, Andrade & Apollo Crews
Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga (The Bloodline) will take on LA Knight, Andrade, and Apollo Crews in a six-man tag match on this week’s episode.
The feud started on the fallout show of the Blue Brand when The Bloodline attacked Apollo Crews in the opening moments. Later in the show, the faction also targeted Knight and Andrade. Sikoa and Knight locked horns in the 12/13 episode but their clash ended in a disqualification due to the Bloodline’s interference.
Crews and Andrade rushed in to settle their score and save Knight. However, the three stars faced a similar fate at the hands of the Bloodline.
Kevin Owens set to appear
‘The Prizefighter’ Kevin Owens is scheduled to make an appearance on this week’s episode. KO will address the Hartford crowd following his recent loss at the hands of Cody Rhodes.
KO locked horns with Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event with the Undisputed WWE title on the line for the clash. Owens attacked Rhodes after the loss as he landed a devastating package piledriver after the show went off the air. The champion was stretchered out of the arena due to the attack.
This week’s episode, The Prizefighter will likely address the attack, this segment will also be used to build the feud further once Rhodes is medically cleared.
Braun Strowman vs Carmelo Hayes
After taking a tough loss from Braun Strowman on last week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Carmelo Hayes will get an opportunity to take his revenge against the Monster among men.
Hayes was scheduled to face a mystery opponent last week which turned out to be Braun Strowman. Strowman made light work of Hayes and picked up the victory with ease.
Johnny Gargano vs Alex Shelley
The team of Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa (#DIY) recently defeated Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) to become the new Tag Team Champions. However, this win came when #DIY turned heel and Gargano landed a low blow on Sabin.
Alex Shelley and Gargano were long-time friends but the betrayal has left a sour taste in Shelley’s mouth as he looks to teach Johnny a lesson. The two former friends will lock horns in this week’s episode of the Blue brand.
Bianca Belair & Naomi (c) vs Nia Jax & Candice LeRae – WWE Women’s tag team championship
On last week’s show, General Manager Nick Aldis informed Bianca Belair that she would need to relinquish the Women’s Tag Team Titles following her partner Jade Cargill’s injury. However, Naomi saved the day as she joined Belair to keep the tag title intact.
The tag champs are now scheduled for their first title defense against the team of Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.
