The 11/29 episode of SmackDown is the Survivor Series go-home show

The 11/29 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is the Survivor Series go-home show as the Stamford-based promotion gears up for the PLE on Saturday.

This week’s episode of the Blue brand will continue to build on last week’s developments that will culminate this Saturday at the Rogers Arena.

The 11/29 show was pre-taped following the 11/22 episode in Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, U.S.A. The reason behind the pre-taping was the holidays and the upcoming PLE. WWE pre-taped the show, allowing the talents to spend time with their families on Thanksgiving.

The results for the 11/29 episode are already out but here we will take a look at the preview for the upcoming episode.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Andrade

The Japanese star Shinsuke Nakamura returned recently on the Blue brand and attacked the US Champion LA Knight. Nakamura kept the antics going on, in the last week’s episode as he tried to interfere during Knight’s title defense against Santos Escobar.

Nakamura will now take on former US title challenger Andrade in his first match since his return. The Japanese star is scheduled to battle Knight for the US title at the PLE in Vancouver.

Cody Rhodes vs Carmelo Hayes

The Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes had a very heated confrontation with Kevin Owens on the 11/22 show. After the segment, Rhodes got into a heated scuffle with Carmelo Hayes backstage. Rhodes even pushed Hayes as he continued to disrespect Rhodes’ friend and WWE legend Randy Orton.

General Manager Nick Aldis stepped in time to diffuse the situation before it turned violent, a match between the two stars was later announced during the show. The match is now set for the 11/29 show, this is a non-title match.

Women’s WarGames Match buildup

Team Ripley has won the WarGames advantage match as Bianca Belair defeated Nia Jax with the help of Bayley on the 11/25 episode of Monday Night Raw.

Bayley has replaced Jade Cargill as the fifth member of Ripley’s team. The team of Bayley, Bianca Belair, Iyo Sky, Naomi & Rhea Ripley will take on Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez & Candice Larae at the final PLE.

Both teams are scheduled to make an appearance on this week’s show and build hype for their WarGames clash at the Rogers Arena.

Jacob Fatu vs Jey Uso – Men’s War Games Advantage Match

The announcement for this men’s WarGames advantage match was made by Solo Sikoa during a promo on the 11/25 episode of the Red brand. Jey Uso is set to face Jacob Fatu to decide who walks in the WarGames clash with the advantage.

The OG faction has found its fifth member in CM Punk as Paul Heyman made his return last week to introduce the Second City Saint as the fifth member.
