Tag Team Title defense and street fight announced on the night.
WWE SmackDown comes back on October 23 with a title match and two feuds heating up as SmackDown moves forward in building to Crown Jewel 2026.
The program will be from Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, with Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley in action defending their Women’s Tag Team Championship against Michin and B-Fab. Also, there will be a Street Fight between Giulia and Blake Monroe, while The MFTs will face off against Bakusai in a tag team match.
This comes after the October 16 program where the feud between Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes took an upturn when Orton intervened during Rhodes’ match against Baron Corbin. Here’s this Friday’s WWE SmackDown preview, match card, and more.

Announced for WWE SmackDown (October 23, 2026)
- WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley (c) vs Michin and B-Fab
- Street Fight: Giulia vs Blake Monroe
- Tag-team match: The MFTs (Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga) vs Bakusai (Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki)
- [Dark match] Bron Breakker and Austin Theory (c) vs LA Knight and Solo Sikoa – World Tag Team Championship match
Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley (c) vs Michin and B-Fab – Women’s Tag Team Championship

Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley will put their newly won WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on the line against Michin and B-Fab. The champions captured the titles after replacing Charlotte Flair in the contest against Fatal Influence, and their first defence will test how well their partnership holds up against an established team.
Michin and B-Fab will look to use their teamwork and aggression to unsettle the champions. However, Bliss and Paxley have momentum on their side after their title victory. A successful defence would strengthen their position in the division, while an upset could bring an immediate change at the top.
Giulia vs Blake Monroe – Street Fight
Giulia will get another opportunity to settle her rivalry with Blake Monroe in a Street Fight. Monroe previously defeated Giulia, using mind games and underhanded tactics to gain an advantage. General Manager Nick Aldis has now made the rematch a no-disqualification contest, removing the usual restrictions and giving both competitors more freedom to use their surroundings.
Giulia will be determined to exact revenge, while Monroe will attempt to prove that her previous victory was no fluke. With no disqualifications, the match could become one of the night’s most physical encounters.
The MFTs vs Bakusai

The MFTs, represented by Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga, will face Bakusai’s Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki in tag-team action. The matchup brings together two combinations with contrasting styles.
The MFTs will look to impose their physical advantage, while Nakamura’s experience and striking ability could prove crucial for Bakusai. A victory would help either team build momentum and strengthen its position in the tag-team picture. The contest could also have implications for the wider faction rivalries on the blue brand.
Bron Breakker and Austin Theory (c) vs LA Knight and Solo Sikoa – World Tag Team Championship match

Another championship match will take place on the same night at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, between Bron Breakker and Austin Theory, who will defend their World Tag Team title against LA Knight and Solo Sikoa in a dark match.
Although this match is set to be held outside the main event list of the October 23 episode of Friday Night SmackDown Live, the match will still add some excitement to the evening.
The opponents for the championship match come from different parts of the roster, as Breakker and Theory, who represent The Vision faction, will fight against Knight and Sikoa for the title.
