WWE SmackDown Results & Summary
Sami Zayn opened the night
The WWE World Champion looked to put forward his word and addressed the Money in the Bank 2026 ladder match result. He destroyed every wrestler who lost in the ladder match and went on to congratulate the victor – Penta.
As Sami Zayn was pushing Penta to challenge Roman Reigns for his Heavyweight Championship, one of the contestants from the MITB main event, Trick Williams, entered the ring and challenged Zayn’s credibility as champion. Johnny Gargano interrupted and demanded respect from Williams.
Stopping Gargano, Trick Williams challenged the former NXT US Champion to a match, and fans got an impromptu non-championship match.
Grade: B-
Trick Williams vs Johnny Gargano
The match made official on the night showcased Johnny Gargano’s ability to withstand some powerful strikes and also his knowledge of countering most moves. The former NXT champion made sure that he held an edge over Trick Williams and even managed to pin him down at one point.
In the closing moment, Gargano tried to hit Helluva Kick, and after missing it, he went for slingshot Spear. Sadly, the reigning US Champion countered both attempts and hit Gargano with Trick Shot and finished the match with Book-End. He stared down Sami Zayn, making sure the champion also felt the heat.

Nikki Bella vs Paige
Hall of Famer Nikki Bella already won against Paige in their earlier encounter, and Paige wanted to settle the score. She started off strongly and even had an early win, but Bella showed some resilience and hung on into the match.
Encouraged by the early edge, Paige mocked the former tag team champion with Five-Knuckle Shuffle and even hit an Attitude Adjustment on Bella. Nikki kicked out and looked to hit a Fireman’s Carry type move. While Paige tried to escape from the attack, she nearly hit the referee.
Nikki quickly rolled her over, and Paige kicked out at two count. She then rolled over Nikki and scored a win with the help of the ropes.
Winner: Paige

Sadly, the landing looked bad as the referee called the match off and called staff for assistance. Damian Priest looked to punish Truth, but staff managed to send him back to the locker room.

While Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley looked to thank Charlotte Flair for everything she did for the team and helped and cheered them to win the tag team title, the Fatal Influence made their way into the ring.

In the closing moments, Rey Fenix hit a double-jump hurricanrana and tried to finish the match. But Saints shoved referee Charles Robinson into the ropes, dropping Fenix. Ricky hit Ro Sham Bo and pinned Fenix, but Robinson refused to count.
Angered by the decision, Ricky Saints confronted the official, prompting Robinson to call for the bell. Fenix won by disqualification.

Cody Rhodes vs Baron Corbin
Cody Rhodes was to face Randy Orton tonight, but Baron Corbin interfered and laid into Rhodes for not having a killer instinct. After an early exchange, Cody demanded a referee set up another impromptu match for the night.
Rhodes dodged a charging Corbin and caught him in a snap powerslam. Rhodes hit his signature Dusty punches. He took control of the match and took his frustration on Corbin. But Randy Orton forced the disqualification by pulling Cody out of the ring and attacking him on the outside.
Both stars exchanged punches outside the ring, but Orton had a clear advantage and even set up Cody for the punt. Randy missed, and Cody followed up with a Cody Cutter. Cody teased a punt of his own, but this time Corbin saved Orton and hit Rhodes.
