WWE SmackDown Results & Summary
Sami Zayn opened the night

Sami Zayn discussed his segment with Roman Reigns and emphasized that the WWE Championship remains the company’s most coveted title, prompting Rey Fenix to join him in the ring. Fenix warned Zayn against disrespecting his family, leading to a tense exchange involving Johnny Gargano.
Trick Williams then interrupted, traded insults with Zayn, and demanded a championship opportunity. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis subsequently announced a tag team match, pairing Zayn and Gargano against Williams and Fenix, setting up an intriguing contest for the show.

Chelsea Green (c) vs Roxanne Perez – WWE Women’s Title match
Chelsea Green defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez, who received her first main-roster world title opportunity. Both women exchanged holds, counters, and near-falls in a competitive opening match.
A key moment came when Raquel Rodriguez interfered as she pushed Green off the top rope while the referee was distracted, but Iyo Sky intervened to neutralize her. Green capitalized on the chaos, hitting her finisher on Perez to retain the championship.
However, the celebrations were short-lived as Liv Morgan and Rodriguez attacked the champion after the match. Tiffany Stratton rushed to Green’s aid, preventing further damage and creating an opportunity to cash in her Money in the Bank contract. Morgan escaped with help from Perez and Rodriguez before Stratton could officially cash in her briefcase.
Winner & Still: Chelsea Green

Insights & Backstage Moments:
- Chelsea Green, IYO SKY and Tiffany Stratton celebrated the victory, with SKY looking to join the group. This could be a good addition to Green’s team, who always needed some protection with the title around her waist.
Giulia vs Blake Monroe – Street Fight
The fight began before Monroe reached the ring, prompting the referee to start the match. Giulia attempted to throw Monroe into a pyramid of chairs, eventually succeeding and sending the show into a commercial break. The competitors later used kendo sticks and a garbage can before taking the brawl backstage, where Monroe was driven into a mirror.
Despite their efforts to make the contest feel brutal and personal, the lack of visible injuries limited its impact. Both women delivered a competitive performance, but the match fell short of their potential. Monroe ultimately secured the victory by hitting the Neutralizer, ending the hard-fought encounter.
Winner: Blake Monroe

Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton confirmed for Crown Jewel
Randy Orton addressed Cody Rhodes on SmackDown, criticizing him for punting Baron Corbin the previous week and claiming Rhodes was avoiding the one person who truly mattered. Rhodes interrupted and accused Orton of betraying numerous allies throughout his career, escalating tensions as officials surrounded the ring.
SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis subsequently announced a match between the rivals at Crown Jewel to settle their differences. However, Rhodes agreed to the contest only if it became a Last Man Standing match. Sadly, the narration and accusations were repeated in the segment.

Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley (c) vs B-Fab & Michin – Women’s Tag Team titles
Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley defended their Women’s Tag Team Championships against Michin and B-Fab, with Jade Cargill supporting the challengers at ringside. B-Fab started aggressively, but Bliss tagged in Paxley, and the champions briefly gained momentum with a double-team attack. The match maintained a fast pace, although the action lacked the intensity expected from a championship contest.
Cargill eventually interfered, delivering a cheap shot to Paxley that allowed Michin to capitalize with a Styles Clash for the pinfall victory. Michin and B-Fab captured the tag team titles, ending Bliss and Paxley’s reign in a match that showed energy but limited competitiveness.
Winner & New: B-Fab and Michin

The MFTs (Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga) vs Bakusai (Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki)
Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki were scheduled for another showdown against Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga, but the match never officially began. Before the contest could start, Kyoki stole Haku’s walking stick, triggering a brawl in the entrance aisle. Officials rushed out to separate the competitors, but their attempts failed as the fight continued.
With neither team willing to back down, the scheduled tag team match was abandoned. The segment ended awkwardly, with the fight overshadowing the planned match and leaving the rivalry unresolved.
Winner: No contest
Kevin Owens and CM Punk face-off
SmackDown GM Nick Aldis had seen enough between two of the biggest stars on the blue brand and decided to set up a match between two former champions. So in two weeks, Punk and Owens can finally settle the score, as they go one-on-one in the storied Barclays Center.
In a sit-down interview, both men would fire off and have some seething words for each other. KO put himself above Punk reminding him how he helped Punk to win title. Punk pointed out Owens’ actions at Money in the Bank 2026 PLE, costing him the match.

Trick Williams, Penta and Rey Fenix vs Sami Zayn, Ricky Saints, and Johnny Gargano
The main event began with the tag team match announced earlier in the show, pitting Rey Fenix and Trick Williams against Sami Zayn and Johnny Gargano. However, the contest barely got underway before Ricky Saints attacked Fenix, forcing a disqualification. Penta then rushed to the ring to help his ally and proposed turning the encounter into a six-man tag team match.
Despite the rushed pace, the six competitors managed to deliver a competitive finish. Williams ultimately secured the victory for his team by pinning Saints with the Book End, closing the show with a decisive moment.
