  • Backstage, Sami Zayn complained to GM Nick Aldis about the injustice he had faced. Zayn continued to complain about the last-minute changes, asking when he would get a chance at justice. He noted that he had been ready to fight the previous week despite having a broken hand, but he did not get his match because of Randy Orton.
    • Orton then arrived as Zayn continued to complain and asked Sami to continue his complaint. Cody Rhodes began yelling into the microphone from the ring, calling out Orton, while Aldis left; Sami yelled at the GM for justice.
  • GM Aldis arrived and tried to talk Cody out of it, but The Viper soon came out. Orton stated that there was already a time and place for them to fight. Cody stated that they should not wait two weeks. Aldis warned both men that if either of them laid a finger on the other before SNME, they would never get another shot at the WWE Championship. Aldis then asked whether they wanted to ruin the show or earn another title opportunity.
    • Orton said he was willing to go to a dark place before WrestleMania, while Cody has always been the good guy, the golden guy, and the American Daydream. Rhodes responded by stating that even if Orton won his 15th World Championship, he would still come back for him because he was the Legend Killer – and it’s not a prediction; it’s a SPOILER.
  • Tama & Talla Tonga (c) (w/ Haku) vs R-Truth & Damian Priest – WWE Tag Team Titles match: Talla pinned R-Truth to retaint he Tag titles after delivering the double-team Red Cross. Priest and Truth embraced after the disappointing loss.
  • Backstage, CM Punk spoke with Cathy Kelley ahead of his title defense. Punk stated that Kevin Owens was fighting ghosts from 20 years ago. He added that while he had changed, he still saw Kevin as the same guy he was 20 years ago. Randy Orton then arrived and stated that after he whoops Cody Rhodes’ ass, he will be coming for number 15. Punk said he is looking forward to it as Orton left.
  • Backstage, Chelsea Green apologized to Tiffany Stratton and stated that she is going to make it up to her, but Stratton asked her not to come ringside for her match as she doesn’t want Green to jeopardize her career. They ran into Paige, who lauded Green, but Fatal Influence arrived to mock them. Paige then floated the idea of battling Jacy Jayne for the Women’s US title.
  • Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviewed Blake Monroe ahead of her in-ring debut. She stated that she hoped for a title match against Chelsea Green, but it is instead against Giulia in this dump, Toronto.
  • Giulia vs Blake Monroe: Blake Monroe ambushed Giulia during the entrance, and the match never happened.
  • Monroe in a digital exclusive then cut a promo, calling out WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green, noting that she didn’t wait all this time to have her debut like that; she is championship material, and wants to face Green.
  • Backstage, Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab confronted Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley. Michin challenged Paxley for a match next week; Paxley accepted, making it official.
  • Trick Williams called out Baron Corbin, who arrived. Williams challenged him to a title match, but Corbin refused. Yachty then attacked Corbin with a kendo stick, while Williams sent him over the top rope. Corbin picked up the mic and called for a match at Sunday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta. However, he first wanted Yachty to face him for five minutes in his hometown.
    • If Yachty survived, Williams would get his title shot, but if Corbin beat him, they would be done. Yachty accepted, making it official. Corbin then stated that it was going to be the longest five minutes of Yachty’s life.
  • Backstage, Kevin Owens spoke with Cathy Kelley when Finn Balor arrived. Gunther then confronted KO and stated that Owens did not need to worry about Balor because he was a shadow of his former self. However, he warned KO that he needed to be worried about him.
    • Balor responded that Owens did not need to worry about Gunther and should instead focus on the match. He added that when KO won, he would be waiting for him.
  • Tiffany Stratton vs Lash Legend: Legend pinned Stratton after delivering a lash extension. Nia Jax and Legend attacked her post-match. Chelsea Green arrived to aid Stratton. Green cleared out the ring, whipping Jax and Legend with the kendo stick. Green checked on Stratton as Jax and Legend retreated.
  • In a vignette, Shinsuke Nakamura stated that the MFTs had not been listening to his warnings. Kyoki (fka Hiromu Takahashi) then appeared alongside Nakamura and stated that he had arrived in WWE. Nakamura added that he did not fear chaos; he enjoyed it. Nakamura then stated that the MFTs were the Tag Team Champions for now, but the clock was ticking.
  • CM Punk (c) vs Kevin Owens – Undisputed WWE Title match: In the final moments, the referee was taken out as Sami Zayn ambushed Punk before sending the referee back in, but Punk survived. Zayn then threw the title into the ring for KO. Zayn tried to convince KO to use it, but Owens refused, so Zayn struck him with the title instead. Punk then picked up KO and hit him with the GTS to retain the title.
  • Post-match, Sami Zayn rushed into the ring and dropped CM Punk with the title. Owens tried to attack Zayn, but Zayn struck him with another title shot before dropping Punk again with the championship.
    • Zayn yelled at Punk, stating that Punk had stolen the title from him and that it was justice for the championship to be back with him. The show came to a close with Zayn flaunting the title as both Punk and KO lay knocked out cold.
