WWE SmackDown Results, Highlights & Winners (July 26, 2024): The Bloodline wins Gauntlet

LA Knight defeats Santos Escobar, Logan Paul attacked Knight, The Bloodline wins gauntlet, Nia Jax pins Bayley & much more!!!
The July 26, 2024 episode of Fridany Night SmackDown is officially over and it is one of the must seen episode in recent times. WWE has showcased some of the interesting matches and segments on the show including the Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Match. Get to know what happened this week on SmackDown, as we came out with the complete show summary, results, highlights and winner’s list.
WWE SmackDown Summary
Backstage- Nick Aldis & The Bloodline
Nick Aldis asked The Bloodline to forfiet the tag team gauntlet match, since Tonga Loa suffered an eye injury. However, Solo Sikoa said that Jacob Fatu will replace Loa in the match and Aldis accepted it.
LA Knight vs Santos Escobar
Santos Escobar tried to fire up with the stikes, but Knight delivered a series of punches and with a take down. He twisted and pulled his hands. But Escobar fought back delivering a suplex, spine buster and a sharpshooter. Knight tried to fight back, but Escobar delivered a 619 on him.
Escobar pushed Knight to the steel stemps and delivered a double knees and slammed Knight’s back to the knee. Knight tried to fight back, but Elektra Lopez distracted Knight. However, he delivered a powerslam to Escobar. Lopez distracts the referee and Logan Paul popped up to attack Knight, but he took Paul with a clothesline and delivered a BFT to Escobar for the win.
After the match, Logan attacked Knight from the back. Knight tried to strike back, but Santos Escobar took him with a knee and Logan delivered a Frog Splash.
Backstage
Naomi was interviewed in the backstage. She was not sure about what is the issue with Blair Davenport. However, she thinks the newbie is playing a mindgame with her.Naomi said that she will make her feel the glow and respect it.
Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill met her and said that she needs to teach Blair Davenport a lesson, similar to how they gonna teach Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn.
Backstage
Logan Paul was interviewed backstage and he said that he shows Knight a taste of what’s going to happen at SummerSlam. Logan said that his friends and family will be at SummerSlam and warned Knight saying that he will be fighting the pride of Cleveland and Knight got everything against him.
Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair – Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn
Belair said that Fyre and Dawn has been ghosting them for weeks. They called them out and the champs sneak attacked them from the back. Fyre took Cargill and Isla took Belair. However, Belair and Cargill cleared the ring, tossing them out of the ring. Later the same night they got their title shot next week on SmackDown.
Backstage- Nia Jax & Tiffany Stratton
Tiffany’s MITB briefcase was fully taped and Nia Jax promised her to replace with a new briefcase. Jax said that she will help her cash-in the MITB briefcase, but she has the match with Bayley at SummerSlam, so asked Stratton to wait.
Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Gauntlet Match
Apollo Crews & Baron Corbin vs Angel & Berto
As soon as the bell rang, Angel and Berto attacked Crews and Corbin, where Apollo is sent out of the ring. Angel and Corbin started the match, with Angel stomping him to the corner. Corbin fights back, but the double team took him down and Berto delivered a suicide dive on him.
After the commercial, Berto hit his back firsr to the turnbuckle. Crews and Angel got the tag, and Crews is fired up. However Angel with a knee to the jaw and a back breaker takes control. Corbin took Berto out and pushed him to the steel steps. Corbing got the tag and delivered the End of Days to eliminate Angel and Garza.
Apollo Crews & Baron Corbin vs Street Profits
Both the team fought each other, where Corbin sent Ford out of the ring and with the assist from crews jumped over the top rope to take Ford down. Corbin tried to powerbomb Ford, but Ford with a step up enzigiri managed to Dawkins in.
Dawkins with a kick to the back of the head and suplex took Crews in control. Corbin and Dawkins in sent out, where Ford and Crews jumped on them over the top rope. Back in the ring, Street Profits delivered the Revalation on Crews and pinned him to advance.
Street Profits vs Pretty Deadly
Pretty Deadly looks for a roll down, but it didn’t help. They took Ford to their corner and takes control with a back to back tag ins. Both target Ford’s leg. Elton and Dawkins got the tag and Dawkings is fired up. Dawkins with a corner splash and spinning kick took Prince in control, but they blind tagged and delivered a DDT. Pretty Deadly isolated Dawkins and delivered a Gut buster. Dawkins took Prince in his shoulder and Ford with a blockbuster eliminated Pretty Deadly.
Street Profits vs The OC
The OC took control of Montez Ford, by locking him in the corner. Luke Gallows dominates Ford and Karl Anderson does the same. However Dawkins was a game changer. When he got tagged in, he jumped over The Good Brothers outside the ring and then rolled Anderson to eliminate them.
Street Profits vs The Bloodline
Tama Tonga took control of Dawkins and Solo Sikoa pulled his head off the ropes. With the back to back tag ins, the Bloodline took Dawkins in control. However when Ford got the tag, he was fired up. Ford delivered a crossbody from the top rope.
When Ford climbed the top rope again, Tama Tonga caught him and delivered a vertical super-plex. Dawkins took Fatu out and Tonga took Dawkins out. Ford jumped on them over the ring post. He dragged Tama in and went for the Frog Splash, however Tama escaped and tagged Fatu in.
Fatu delivered a DDT, a slam a superkick and a Samoan Drop on Ford. Fatu then delivered a Moonsault pinned Ford to win the Gauntlet and to become the #1 Contender for the WWE tag team championship.
A-Town Down Under & Terence Crawford
Austin Theory & Grayson Waller called out Terence Crawford to apologize to them for janding Cody with the steel chair, last week. Crawford stepped up to the ring and Waller asked him for apology for handing the chair and standing infornt of them, thinking that he can handle them. Waller warned him saying that if he steps forward, Theory will knock him out, but Theory got knocked out by Terence.
Cody Rhodes Video Tape
Cody Rhodes appeared on an exlcusive video tape from Japan. He addressed how he finishes his story and thought that things with The Bloodline got over. However, they new Bloodline targetted him and his friends again. Cody thought that Solo Sikoa is not ready, but Solo has sets his sights on the title. However, Cody is ready to prove him wrong at SummerSlam. Rhodes then called out Solo Sikoa for a face-off next week.
Backstage
Andrade while addressing what’s next for him, Carmelo Hayes interfered him and said that he is not done with him. Andrade gave him a rematch and Hayes said that he just need that to rewrite things.
Bayley & Michin vs Tiffany Stratton & Nia Jax
While Michin was making her way to the ring, Nia Jax and Tiffany attacked her from the back and pushed her to the ring post. Bayley made the save with the kendo stick.
As Michin is hurt, Bayley started the match alone without a tag team partner. Tiffany and Nia Jax took advantage of it and controlled the champ for the major time. Michin tried to enter the match, a couple of time, but Jax took her out over and over.
Michin however got the tag and took Jax out and delivered a Tornado DDT to TIffany. She delivered a suicide dive on Jax and when trried to jump on Tiffy, she landed on the mat. Bayly and Jax tagged in, where referee was busy sending Michin out. Tiffany used the distraction to hit Bayley with the briefcase and allowed Jax to deliver an Annihilator to pin Bayley.
Solo Sikoa
Solo Sikoa on the video tape, cutted a promo saying that the Bloodline will be back with the gold by next week, when Tama Tonga & Jacob Fatu win the WWE Tag Team Championship on SmackDown and Solo winning the Undisputed WWE Champion from Cody Rhodes. Solo said that if Roman has any problem with it, he asked to find him, but warned saying that he will be assaulted like Randy Orton & Kevin Owens.
SmackDown Results
- LA Knight defeated Santos Escobar by pinfall after BFT. After the match Logan Paul attacked Knight from the back and delivered a Frog Splash.
- Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair got their tag team title shot against Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn for next week.
- The Bloodline won the tag team championship #1 contender gauntlet match by defeating The Street Profits.
- Cody Rhodes calls out Solo Sikoa for a face-off next week.
- Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton defeated Bayley & Michin by pinfall.
