Jacob Fatu kicked off the show, reiterating his goal to step up to World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) arrived to try to reason with Fatu and turn him in Cody Rhodes’ direction. Solo Sikoa and the MFTs then showed up, with Solo reminding Fatu that he was the one who brought Fatu into WWE.

Sikoa also insisted that Fatu will need backup against Roman. Tama Tonga whipped the mic away from Fatu and stated that Fatu is a lost cause. This led Fatu to superkick Tonga, and the segment ended in a match between Fatu and Solo.

In the first match on the show, Tiffany Stratton defeated Giulia to capture the Women’s United States title, fending off Kiana James’ interference, further playing up the rift between Giulia and James, which was also highlighted in a backstage segment before the match, where Giulia seemed irked by the match taking place at SmackDown after Mania and not at WrestleMania.

The newly crowned WWE Tag Team Champions, Brie Bella and Paige, appeared to celebrate the title win, when Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss interrupted, leading to a tag team match where Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) attacked Paige, before taking everyone out to announce their arrival in NXT.

WWE Champion Cody Rhodes appeared next, noting that WrestleMania didn’t end with him flat on his back because he refused to stay down. Rhodes noted that he took Randy Orton’s best shot but is still standing, still champion.

He then called out Sami Zayn, who called him the golden boy, fully leaning into the idea that everything goes his way. Cody closed the segment with a clear warning: step up your game or step aside and take the payday. He then issued an open challenge to anyone across NXT, Raw, or SmackDown.

Elsewhere on the card, WWE Tag Team Championship R-Truth and Damian Priest defeated The MFTs (Tama Tonga & J.C. Mateo) to retain the titles, while Sami Zayn revealed himself as the gingerbread man to attack Trick Williams and Lil Yachty and crash the title celebration.

On the other hand, Danhausen, after tormenting the Miz for weeks, battled him in a singles match, picking up another win to continue his undefeated streak. Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley appeared to celebrate the title win when Fatal Influence interfered, leading to a match between Ripley and Jacy Jayne, where Henly and Reid attacked Ripley, ending the match via disqualification.

In a backstage segment, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss were discussing their clash with Fatal Influence when Rhea Ripley walked past and asked if there was an issue, and Bliss stated that they do in the form of Fatal Influence and suggested teaming up to take care of them. However, Flair interjected, saying she’ll handle Jacy Jayne next week, unlike some people, hinting at Ripley.

In the main event of the show, Jacob Fatu battled Solo Sikoa, with the MFTs trying to help Sikoa but failing, as Fatu defeated Sikoa once again to win the main event. After the match, the MFTs jumped Fatu, and The Usos came to aid, but Fatu single-handedly took them all down, before facing off with the Usos, stating that he will see the two and Roman Reigns on Monday.
