WWE SmackDown Results & Winners

- Cody Rhodes met with GM Nick Aldis during the opening moments, and Rhodes later ran into the Usos. Jey stated that he is winning the King of the Ring and is coming for the WWE title at SummerSlam. Cody said that Jey deserved the title shot more than anybody, but he hopes it’s his decision and not Roman Reigns’.
- Chalortte Flair defeated Lyra Valkyria, Sol Ruca, and Jade Cargill to win the final first-round match and advance into the semi-finals of the 2026 Queen of the Ring tournament. Michin and B-Fab interfered in the match, while Alexa Blis and Tiffany Stratton came to even the odds.
- Backstage, Tiffany Stratton spoke with Cathy Kelley, stating that while she and Charlotte were far from friends, they shared a common goal of not wanting Jade Cargill to become the next champion. B-FAB and Michin caught up with her, but Chelsea Green rushed in with a kendo stick to make the save.
- In another segment, Jacob Fatu told the Usos that Roman Reigns sent him, and he is here to handle business with Solo Sikoa.
- Another Blake Monroe hype reel aired with the Glamour calling out Charlotte Flair. Backstage, Gunther told GM Nick Aldis that he doesn’t trust officials and will pick a referee for the title rematch himself by the end of the night. Meanwhile, Finn Balor had a weird Judgment Day reunion with R-Truth and Damian Priest.
- On the other hand, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champs Brie Bella and Paige defeated Fatal Influence (Lainey Reid & Fallon Henley) in a tag team match.
- Meanwhile, Los Garza gave Danhausen a large bag of cash to reverse the curse on the Knicks. Matt Cardona then arrived and said he did not want the Knicks to be cursed again. Danhausen took his watch and a ring as payment, as Cardona didn’t have any cash.
- Later, Kit Wilson confronted Danhausen over allegedly “factory resetting” The Miz back to his 2010 persona, leaving him able to speak only in catchphrases. Danhausen admitted he preferred this version of Miz. Frustrated, Wilson smashed a piece of electrical equipment, only to accidentally shock himself.
- Sami Zayn called out Cody Rhodes, the two argued, and Sami slapped Rhodes and was immediately apologetic about it. Rhodes responded with a slap of his own before Sami exited the ring.
- Backstage, Jacob Fatu tried to recruit Solo Sikoa back into the Bloodline. Solo refused the offer and asked what happened to Fatu, who was a killer, and reminded Fatu of how Roman had humiliated Fatu in front of the world. Fatu said he made his decision, and if the OTC wants him to go after Solo, he is coming for Solo. Sikoa asked him to tell Roman that if he wants him to come back, then he can come and get him.
- Rey Fenix defeated Axiom to retain the AAA Cruiserweight Championship.
- Backstage, Gunther informed Nick Aldis that he wants Sami Zayn as the special guest referee for the rematch.
- Trick Williams, along with Lil Yachty, came out to cut a promo, but were interrupted by Carmelo Hayes and Ricky Saint, who claimed to be next in line for the US title. A brawl broke out between the two; Williams laid both challengers out to end the segment.
- Solo Sikoa once again tried to recruit Royce Keys into the MFTs. On the other hand, the team of Michin and B-Fab defeated Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green in a tag team match. Post-match, Stratton attacked Jade, but fell prey to the numbers game.
- Backstage, Giulia and Kiana James argued about the split. The confrontation escalated when Giulia slapped James across the face. Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes complained to Nick Aldis if they’re actually going ahead with it all, questioning Sami’s emotional turmoil. Sami arrived, and Cody asked if they were good after the slap-fest. Sami said his ’emotions’ are all over the place and wished Cody good luck.
- In the main event of the show, Jey Uso defeated LA Knight, Royce Keys, and Finn Balor to win the final first-round match and advance into the semi-finals of the King of the Ring tournament.
