WWE SmackDown Results & Winners (November 15, 2024): Roman Reigns calls Paul Heyman

Tommaso Ciampa attacks, Shinsuke Nakamura returns, Bronson Reed joins the Bloodline & more!
WWE Friday Night SmackDown returned on November 15, 2024, from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. Tonight’s episode of the Blue brand saw a few intriguing surprises as WWE approaches the WWE Survivor Series 2024 PLE.
Ahead of the Survivor Series: WarGames 2024, the promotion continued to build storylines for the announced matches. The promotion revealed a shocking return and major segments including top stars ahead of the upcoming PLE. Get to know what happened this Friday, as we have the complete summary, highlights, results, and winner’s list for the 11/15 episode of WWE SmackDown.
WWE SmackDown Summary and Highlights
Cody Rhodes
The American Nightmare kicked off the Friday Night Show from Wisconsin as he made his way into the arena. Rhodes picked up the mic and addressed Kevin Owens. Rhodes told Owens that he had crossed the line and called him out into the arena.
SmackDown GM Nick Aldis walked into the ring instead and told Cody that he understood the situation. Aldis discussed the danger of a move like the Piledriver and stated that Owens had crossed the line. He added that until they figured out the situation, they couldn’t have Owens on SmackDown.
Rhodes told Aldis that he was making a martyr of Owens and asked Aldis to let him handle Owens. Aldis expressed that this wasn’t about money, and Owens couldn’t be there until the situation was resolved internally.
Rhodes asked the GM to ‘be real for him’ and to put himself in his shoes, to imagine calling Orton’s wife and telling her about the injury, talking to the family.
Rhodes then revealed how much Orton meant to him and reiterated that Owens told everybody that Orton’s injury was because of him. Rhodes warned Aldis that the ball was in his court and he wouldn’t be waiting too long. The Champion then dropped the mic and left the arena as the segment ended.
Backstage
Jimmy Uso had been on the phone with The OTC when he ran into Jey and Sami backstage. Jimmy, Jey, and Sami Zayn were backstage as Jimmy and Jey talked about the fifth member to add to their WarGames match.
Jey said they still needed a 5th member and that Sami Zayn had another idea in mind for who it could be, Zayn stated that he had somebody in mind and told them that he would meet them later.
Women’s United States Championship Tournament – Bayley vs Candice LeRae vs B-Fab
Candice LeRae and Bayley made their way into the ring for the first matchup in the tournament that night. B-Fab was the third woman to make the walk for the Championship Tournament.
B-Fab, Bayley, and Candice started the action as LeRae attacked Bayley. B-Fab walked in and clashed with LeRae, quickly taking control and manhandling LeRae in the first match of the tournament.
Bayley was back in the match and attacked B-Fab. B-Fab took out both LeRae and Bayley with a double clothesline as the show rolled into commercials. Back from the commercials, Bayley was in control of the triple threat match.
The Women’s US Championship was ringside as the three stars battled for a chance at the inaugural title. LeRae made her way to the top rope as B-Fab tried to interfere, but Candice pushed her down to the mat.
Bayley jumped in and tried to go for a high-flying move, but B-Fab took out both women, displaying her strength. LeRae capitalized and tried to go for the cover on Bayley, but B-Fab interfered.
Bayley landed a Belly-to-Belly, but Candice pushed out of it and tried to capitalize again, though B-Fab kicked out at two.
In the final moments of the fight, B-Fab took out Candice near the ring post with a boot kick. Bayley capitalized as B-Fab shifted her attention back, rolled up B-Fab, and picked up the win via pinfall, advancing in the tournament.
Backstage
Sami Zayn was backstage talking to United States Champion LA Knight as Knight made his way into the arena for the US Title open challenge.
Backstage
B-Fab had been talking to the Street Profits after her loss in the tournament as Montez and Dawkins left. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven walked in and mocked B-Fab for her loss, stating that not everyone could be a champion.
Green told B-Fab that when she won the championship, she would let her touch the title.
B-Fab responded, asking how they were going to decide between them since only one of them was going to win the championship.
Michin walked in and asked if there was a problem. Green and Niven told her that they had to leave as the show cut back to the ring.
LA Knight
Knight made his way into the arena amid ‘LA Knight‘ chants. Knight picked up the mic, talked to the crowd, and stated that everybody was looking for his title.
Knight then mentioned that Sami Zayn wanted him to join the OG Bloodline, but he expressed that it wasn’t a fight he was interested in and that if the Bloodline destroyed themselves, he had no problem with that.
Knight then stated that this was his show, not Logan Paul’s. He announced that it was LA Knight’s US Title open challenge.
Legado Del Fantasma’s music hit as Santos Escobar, Angel Garza, Humberto, and Puerto Rican-American Elektra Lopez made their way to the ring.
Escobar picked up the mic and yelled at the crowd for booing him, then asked Knight if he wasn’t tired of hearing himself speak. He stated that he was tired of hearing Knight and that he would shut the US Champion up.
Escobar claimed that Lopez was going to win the Women’s US Title and that he would do the same, bringing the Men’s US Title to the ‘Familia’.
Knight blasted Berto as Knight and Escobar locked eyes, and Berto attacked Knight. The show went into commercials as Knight vs. Carrillo was made official.
LA Knight vs Berto – United States Championship
The US Title match was underway as Angel, Escobar, and Lopez were ringside. The Champion was in control of the fight as he blasted Berto on the announcer’s desk multiple times.
Knight then landed a DDT inside the ring and went for the cover, but the challenger kicked out at two.
In the final moments, Knight rallied the crowd, connected with a devastating elbow from the top rope, and went for the BFT. Knight retained the title via pinfall after the devastating BFT.
After the match, Knight celebrated his win when Shinsuke Nakamura appeared out of nowhere and attacked Knight. Nakamura took out the US Champion and walked out of the arena as Knight gathered himself after the attack.
Backstage
Jimmy and Jey had argued about the difficulty they were facing in finding the fifth member. Zayn walked in and asked where The OTC was. The three of them then walked into the room to talk to Roman Reigns.
Back from the commercials, Zayn, Jimmy, and Jey were waiting for The OTC when Reigns walked in the lockeroom. Zayn stated that they were having a problem finding the fifth member and that they had tried from Raw to SmackDown.
Jimmy told Reigns that he had to make the call, just as Sikoa’s music hit and he walked into the arena with The Bloodline.
The Bloodline saga
Solo Sikoa picked up the mic as the crowd started booing. Sikoa addressed the Milwaukee crowd and asked them to acknowledge him.
The OTC’s music hit as Reigns walked into the arena, accompanied by Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Jimmy Uso. Sikoa’s Bloodline was ready as the OG faction stepped into the ring, and chaos broke out as the two factions collided.
Jey took out Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. Jacob Fatu took out Jimmy and Jey as Sikoa went for a Samoan Spike on Zayn. Reigns saved Sami by landing a spear on Sikoa.
Zayn then went for the suicide dive and took out the former tag champs. Reigns and Jacob Fatu locked eyes inside the ring when Bronson Reed appeared and attacked Reigns. Reed and Fatu teamed up and brutalized The OTC as Jey and Sami fought back.
Fatu, Reed, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa took back control as the numbers game shifted back in the rogue faction’s favor.
Reed and Fatu flatlined everybody with high-flying action, and Reigns tried to fight back, taking out Tonga Loa. Tama Tonga threw Reigns into the ring, but Reigns landed a Superman punch and took out Tonga, Reed, and Fatu.
Sikoa landed a Samoan Spike to take out Reigns, then ordered Fatu to hit a moonsault from the top rope. Reed then climbed to the top rope and landed a Tsunami on The OTC. Officials and security rushed into the ring to try and diffuse the brawl.
The Bloodline stood strong as Reigns lay in the middle of the ring. Sikoa and company, along with Bronson Reed, walked out of the ring after devastating the OG faction. The Bloodline, along with Reed, pointed up to the sky as Jey gathered himself and told Roman to make the call.
Kevin Owens
A recorded video played where Kevin Owens said that he had been stopped from entering the arena. Owens expressed that it was completely nonsense that he had been stopped from entering.
Owens then said that Nick Aldis had called him and asked him to come to SmackDown next week in Salt Lake City, Utah. Owens blasted Rhodes and expressed his frustration that the ‘Golden Boy’ always got what he wanted.
Owens stated that he wouldn’t be in the arena next week because Aldis or Rhodes asked him to, but because he loved the Utah mountains and he will show up next week for himself. Owens ended the video by saying, “When I show up next Friday, I’m just doing what you all want me to do.”
MCMG vs Street Profits – WWE Tag Team Championship
Chris Sabin started things off against Montez Ford, with Ford taking control of the action. Sabin offered a hand to express that he wanted a friendly fight, but Ford instead tried to attack. Sabin turned the tide and tagged in Alex Shelley.
The tag champs manhandled Montez Ford, and Shelley tried for the cover. Ford rallied back into the match as he took out Shelley.
Ford tagged in Dawkins, who stalked Shelley near the announcer’s desk. Dawkins sprinted and threw Shelley flying through the announcer’s desk.
Back from the commercials, the tag champs were in control as Shelley held Ford and Sabin landed a dropkick from the top rope to Ford’s neck.
Sabin was now the legal man as Ford tagged in Dawkins. The Street Profits looked to capitalize as Montez Ford went to the top rope for the finish.
Tommaso Ciampa appeared and pushed Ford from the top rope, causing the match to end due to disqualification.
Ciampa then attacked Ford as Shelley walked in to confront Ciampa. Johnny Gargano then walked in and tried to diffuse the situation, but Ciampa pushed Gargano hard and left the ring, yelling as he exited.
Motor City Machine Guns helped the Street Profits back to their feet and stated that it wasn’t them who had ended the fight. Dawkins wanted none of it, as he took out Alex Shelley with a cheap shot.
Backstage
Naomi was getting ready for the title match against Nia Jax when Bayley walked in, and they discussed Naomi’s upcoming match.
Bayley then warned Naomi about Iyo Sky and told her to watch her back during the match. WWE Tag Champs, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair walked in and told Naomi that they had her back in the match.
Nia Jax vs Naomi – WWE Women’s Championship
Naomi made her way into the ring for the title match as the show rolled into commercials. Back from the commercials, the champion Nia Jax made her way into the ring, accompanied by Miss Money in the Bank, Tiffany Stratton.
Jax stared down Naomi as she stepped into the ring for her title defense. The title match was underway as the bell rang, and Naomi attacked the champion.
Jax overpowered Naomi, manhandling the challenger and boasting in front of the crowd. Naomi fought back and landed a flying elbow, then went for the cover.
Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair were backstage watching the fight, while Stratton was also backstage watching her friend defend the WWE title. Back from the commercials, Jax tried for the cover, but Naomi kicked out at two.
Jax got visibly irritated and landed a headbutt on the challenger. Jax then picked up Naomi for a slam, but the challenger turned the tide and landed a drop on Jax. Naomi fought back, landing a crossbody, then caught the champion with a pop-up enseuigiri.
The challenger landed the Rearview and went for the cover to win the title, but Jax somehow kicked out at two. The champion fought back and landed a Samoan drop to flatten the challenger. Jax dragged Naomi near the ropes and boasted in front of the crowd.
Naomi capitalized, pushing Jax outside the ring, then landed a high-flying move on the champion. Backstage, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez attacked Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.
Back in the ring, Tiffany Stratton walked in and attacked Naomi. Tiffany then pushed Naomi into the ring and cheered for the champion to finish the fight.
Jax went for a devastating drop from the top rope, but Naomi somehow reversed it and went for the cover. Jax kicked out at two. Tiffany tried to intervene again, but Bayley walked in to aid her friend.
Naomi then went for the cover again, but the champion kicked out once more. Candice LeRae appeared to attack Bayley, and Jax capitalized on the distraction, landing a Samoan drop on the challenger.
Jax then landed the Annihilator to finish the SmackDown main event match and win via pinfall. Jax, along with LeRae and Stratton, stood tall in the ring as the segment ended.
Backstage
Roman Reigns was backstage in his locker room. He picked up the phone and asked the assistant to call “The Wiseman” Paul Heyman.
The voice on the other end stated that it was a recording and that the number he was trying to call was no longer in service. Reigns looked concerned as the call disconnected, and Friday Night SmackDown came to an end.
