Get to know what happened this Friday, as we have the complete summary, highlights, results, and winner’s list for the 10/25 episode of WWE SmackDown. Down below are WWE SmackDown results and results.

WWE SmackDown Summary and Highlights

Randy Orton

Orton kicked off the SmackDown October 25 show. The Viper made his way backstage to talk to Triple H while his music played. Orton walked to the ring amid cheers from the crowd. He told the crowd that he was doing everything to get his hands on Kevin Owens. Orton then called for Triple H to have a discussion about fighting Owens at Crown Jewel 2024. Triple H’s music hit as the camera went backstage and The Game arrived. Orton claimed that Triple H was protecting Owens.

Triple H stated that he was not protecting Owens but was instead protecting Orton. The crowd erupted with ‘RKO’ chants. Triple H tried to reason with The Viper, saying that Owens had let his guard down and was unable to see the ‘miserable prick’ he wanted to be.

The Game also said that Owens was not the same guy and, quite frankly, he didn’t want to put Orton in the ring with Owens. Orton replied that he didn’t ask ‘Paul Levesque’, the COO of a billion-dollar company, to be in the ring, but rather wanted ‘The Game’ in front of him.

He wanted the guy with the sledgehammer in the ring right, the one with ruthless aggression. Orton made his case for the match and pleaded with Triple H to let him handle the Owens business in the ring.

Triple H finally agreed to Orton’s pleas amid crowd chants for the match and suggested Orton to protect himself at all times. Orton vs Owens was made official for Crown Jewel 2024.

Carmelo Hayes vs Andrade (Part VII)

LA Knight’s music hit as he came out with his US title and adorned the WWE referee’s uniform. Amid ‘yeah’ chants from the crowd, the show went into commercials. Back from the break, Andrade made his way into the arena first.

Carmelo Hayes was the final star to make his entrance for the rubber match. The bell rang, and the match got underway. Andrade kicked Hayes with a boot right away and went for the pinfall. Hayes kicked out, and the two battled out of the arena.

Back in the ring, Hayes used LA Knight to attack Andrade. Andrade went for a suicide dive but was stopped midway by LA Knight. However, Andrade still went over the top of the US Champ to take down Hayes.

Hayes took down Andrade and went for the cover, but only got a two-count. Andrade landed a double knee and went for the pinfall, but Hayes kicked out as Andrade fell onto Knight. Hayes accidentally kicked Knight in the face as Andrade moved out of harm’s way. Andrade went for the triple suplex, but Hayes landed a cutter on him.

However, there was no official to go for the count. In the final moments, Knight pulled Hayes out of the ring and threw him into the commentary booth. He walked into the ring and landed a BFT on Andrade. Hayes entered the ring, only to get BFT’d by the champion. Knight then went ringside, rang the bell himself, and declared himself the winner. The seventh fight ended in a no contest.

Backstage

We saw a clip from earlier in the day between Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton. Jax said that she needed someone to get rid of Naomi last week for her, and Tiffany replied that she could do it. Nia told her she had already found Candice LeRae, who would take Naomi out that night.

Candice LeRae walked in and told Tiffany that she could stay there. LeRae tells Tiffany that she would handle Naomi as she geared up to face Naomi on Friday Night SmackDown.

Backstage

Backstage on SmackDown, Nick Aldis confronted LA Knight for his actions during the fight. Aldis announced a triple-threat match between Knight, Hayes, and Andrade for the US title at Crown Jewel 2024 PLE.

Naomi vs Candice LeRae

LeRae walked into the ring accompanied by Indi Hartwell. Candice and Naomi clashed as the bell rang for their first encounter on SmackDown. Naomi landed a leg drop and went for the cover, but Candice kicked out.

Naomi and Candice battled on the edge of the ring, with Candice getting the better of the exchange as she drove Naomi face-first onto the ring apron. Back from commercials, Candice was in control of the match while Naomi fought back.

Naomi sent LeRae head-first from the ropes to rally back into the match. She landed two dropkicks and went for a flying kick from the ropes. However, Indi Hartwell interfered in the match and pushed Naomi into the ring post.

Bayley suddenly walked into the arena and made her way to the ring to aid her friend Naomi. She threw Hartwell into the ring apron. Naomi capitalized after the help from Bayley and landed a modified full Nelson on LeRae and secured the win.

Gunther & Cody Rhodes face off

Back from the commercial, we got a glimpse of the inaugural Crown Jewel title. Cody Rhodes’ music hit as he made his way to the ring.

Amid crowd chants and fireworks, Rhodes made his entrance for the face-off against Gunther. Gunther crashed Rhodes’ entrance as he made his way into the arena. Both champions stood face to face, with the Crown Jewel Title on display between them.

Gunther asked Rhodes what he wanted to talk about. Rhodes replied, asking why Gunther thought he would leave Crown Jewel as champion. Gunther stated that Rhodes didn’t have to mention his daughter. It was a champion vs. champion fight.

Gunther further stated that Cody dragged people closer to him every time into his business. He criticized Rhodes, saying that he was making things more dramatic than they needed to be. Rhodes shut down Gunther as he rallied the crowd behind him.

Rhodes criticized Gunther, saying that he wasn’t fulfilling his duty as WWE champion. Gunther responded that he had the guts to say no and was not a servant to everybody like his fellow champion. He further claimed that he was not a ‘gutless champion.’

Rhodes replied that Gunther was not a ring general and started unloading punches on the Heavyweight Champion. Ludwig Kaiser entered the ring to attack Rhodes from behind and rescue his Ring General.

Kaiser grabbed Cody with his right hand and the two beat up Rhodes as Orton walked into the ring to save Rhodes. Gunther and Kaiser ran out of the ring as The Viper entered.

Backstage

Nick Aldis, Ava, and Adam Pierce announced that Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair will defend their Women’s Tag Team title in a fatal four-way tag team match at Crown Jewel 2024.

Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair vs IYO SKY & Kairi Sane vs Piper Niven & Chelsea Green vs Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson will clash in a Fatal 4-way tag match for the Women’s Tag Team Championship at Crown Jewel 2024.

DIY vs MCMG

MCMG made their way into the ring for their match against DIY on SmackDown. Johnny Gargano and Alex Shelley started the tag team action as the bell rang.

MCMG quickly took control of the fight, but DIY fought back for the #1 contenders match. Gargano went for a suicide dive on Shelley, while Ciampa landed a brutal knee on Sabin and went for the cover, but Sabin kicked out.

In the final moments, Gargano accidentally took out Ciampa with a kick on the ring apron. MCMG took over the match as they landed high-flying action to end the match.

MCMG bagged the win via pinfall to advance in the tournament and will face the SmackDown Tag Team champions.

The Bloodline enters

As Shelley and Sabin celebrated their win, The Bloodline’s music started playing. Solo Sikoa and his faction walked into the ring as the show went into a commercial break.

Back from the commercial, Nick Aldis tried to calm everyone down and stated that the two teams would not start a fight that night. Brooklyn erupts with the ‘OTC’ chants as Sikoa asks them to acknowledge him.  Sikoa welcomed the MCMG and introduced them to The Bloodline and the Tag Team champs.

MCMG replied that they are ready to take the title any place, anytime. Sikoa replied that if they wanted to make an impact, and floated the idea of a tag team match right here in Brooklyn.

SmackDown General Manager, Aldis intervened and shut down the idea and stated that the MCMG are not at their 100% after their fight against DIY. However, MCMG accepted the challenge as Aldis finally made the fight official after asking the Brooklyn crowd.

MCMG vs The Bloodline

Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa attacked MCMG as the bell rang, and the Tag Team title fight was underway. Kelly and Sabin landed a baseball slide, but the champions quickly took back control of the fight.

Back from the commercials, chants of ‘We want Roman’ echoed as The Bloodline and MCMG battled. Loa climbed to the top rope and went for a double splash, but Shelley moved out of the way.

Sikoa intervened in the fight and got on the ring apron as Jimmy Uso attacked him but was quickly outnumbered by The Bloodline as Sikoa and his faction took control.

The OTC music hit as Roman Reigns walked into the arena and landed a Superman punch on Jacob Fatu. Reigns and Jimmy neutralized Sikoa and Fatu as they began fighting outside the ring.

The tag team match continued as the numbers game was now neutralized by Jimmy and Reigns. The Bloodline brought a steel chair into the ring as the official was knocked out.

A masked man wearing a hoodie who turned out to be, Jey Uso appeared ringside and landed a superkick on Tonga Loa, throwing him toward the announcer’s desk. Jey then stepped into the ring to land a kick on Tama Tonga, followed by hitting Tonga with the steel chair and landing a brutal spear to flatline Loa.

MCMG quickly capitalized on the opportunity to defeat the Bloodline and won the WWE Tag Team Champion in their third fight in SmackDown.

Jimmy and Jey Uso reunite

Jimmy Uso stepped into the ring and hugged his brother Jey Uso as the crowd erupted with the chants of ‘Usos’. The brothers buried the hatchet as they embraced each other in the ring.
